Tomorrow

Good morning, heavenly father. Fill me, Holy Spirit, and take charge of my thoughts, will and emotions. I thank you that today I am led by the Spirit of God. I am Christ’s and Christ is God’s.  Therefore, I am not anxious about my life; about what I shall eat or wear. My life in Christ is much more than the “things” of this world. The birds of the air neither sow nor reap and yet my heavenly father feeds them. You assure me, father, that I am of great value to you; more than the birds of the air.

Being anxious does not add a single hour to my life. If God clothes the grass of the field will He not much more clothe me. My Heavenly Father knows everything I need. I seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things are added to me. I do not worry about tomorrow. My father takes care of tomorrow and today .

Holy

1 Cor. 3:26; 4:7; 2:14

I am God’s temple and God’s spirit lives in me. Because of your presence, father, the temple is holy and I am the temple.

I am not deceived by this age. I have become a fool for Christ that I may be wise. “My God, you know the craftiness and thoughts of the wise and they are futile”. So I do not boast about me; where I came from or what I accomplished; for it is all about you, father, God.  In Christ, “all is His, and I am in Christ, and Christ is god’s. ”

Everything I have I received from God, my father, so why would I boast as if I had not received it as a gift. God gives the growth. Sometimes I water and sometimes I plant, but it is God who gives life and growth.  The things of God are from the Spirit of God. The flesh cannot understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

Chosen

I Chron 28:9; 22:19; Jere 29:14; Ps 105:3; 106:13

Lord, you have chosen me to build, by your grace I am strong and will do the things you have for me to do. I know you, Lord, and serve you with my whole heart and with a willing mind. I seek you and I find you!  You search my heart and you understand my every plan and thought.

I set my mind and heart to seek you, oh Lord, my God. I call upon you, Lord, and I come to you and I pray to you and you hear me. I seek you with all my heart and I find you!  You, oh Lord, let me find you. You restore my fortunes and gather me to you. You bring me back to you, my great God!

I glory in your holy name and my heart rejoices as I seek you. I seek you, Lord, and your strength; I seek your presence continually.  I remember your works in my life, and I wait on your counsel. Thank you, Jesus, these things are mine!

Draw Near

Heb 11:6; 2 Chron 16:9; I Chron 16:8

Heavenly father, I draw near to you. I believe you are God; God of earth below and heaven above, and I know you are a rewarder of those who seek you.  Thank you for the gift of faith. I understand that the universe was created by your word, father. Your name, father, is a strong tower and I run to it and I am kept safe

Help my heart stay fixed on you, father, and help me be pleasing to you, Lord, for I know that your eyes run to and fro throughout the whole earth to give strong support to the person whose heart is blameless toward you!  By your grace I am one of those persons! I seek you, Lord, and your strength. I seek your presence continuously.  You are always with me and you never leave me. I give thanks to you, Lord, and call on your name. I sing to you and tell of your wondrous works. I glorify your holy name.

Forever Firmly Fixed

Ps 119:110-143; Ps 32

Forever, oh Lord, your words are firmly fixed in the heavens. Your faithfulness endures to all generations.  Your word tastes sweet to me; sweeter than honey! Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. I do not stray from your precepts.  Your testimonies are a joy to my heart. I love your law. You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in your word.

Thank you that you deal with me according to your steadfast love. Teach me your statutes. I am your servant and you give me understanding.  You are righteous, oh Lord, your commandments are my delight!

You, Lord Jesus, are a hiding place for me; your preserve me from trouble and you surround me with shouts of deliverance. You instruct me and teach me in the way I must go.  You counsel me and keep your eye on me. Your steadfast love surrounds me. I am glad and I rejoice. I shout with joy.

He Is Holy

In faith I prepare my mind for action. I am sober minded and I set my hope fully on the grace that is brought to me at the revelation of Jesus, the Christ.  As your obedient child, father, I am no longer conformed to the passion of my former ignorance.  You have called me to be holy in all my conduct as you are holy. You have written to me, father, your command that I, ” be holy as you are holy”.

I call on you, father. I pray to conduct myself with reverent fear throughout the rest of my life in this flesh since you are my impartial judge.  By your grace I am ransomed from the futile ways of my past and the “world’s” system. I am ransomed not with perishable things, like my own good deeds, but with the precious blood of Jesus.  He bought me. I belong to God. I live and breathe out of that place. That is: Christ in me, me in Christ, Christ in God!  I am holy because he is holy !!

Joy Inexpressible

Blessed be you, my heavenly father. You are Almighty God and the father of Jesus, the Christ. According to your great mercy, father, you have caused me to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled and unfailing, kept in heaven for me. I am being guarded by you, father, through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

I rejoice in this faith and your promises, father, even though from time to time here in these times I am grieved by various trials.  These trials test the genuineness of my faith; that my faith more precious than gold tested by fire, be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.  Though I have not seen him, I love him. I believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory. Thank you, father, for the salvation of my soul.

You Are My God

Heavenly father, I am a stranger and sojourner in this world. My days on earth are like a shadow and there is no abiding. All my abundance comes from your hand, father, and is yours. You test my heart, Lord, and you have pleasure in uprightness. I offer myself to you freely and joyously. Keep forever your purposes and thoughts in my heart. Direct my heart toward you.

I love you, Lord, with my whole heart.  I keep your commandments. I feed on your word and drink in your spirit, oh Lord.  You, Lord Jesus, are food and drink indeed. I’ve bend down and peer into the word of God, the perfect law of liberty.  I see Jesus, the Christ, the Messiah. He is lifted up above all and seated at the right hand of God. You love me,  Lord Jesus and daily make intercession for me. Bless you Lord. You are my God.

The Greatness

I Chronicles 29:10

Blessed are you, oh Lord, forever and ever. Yours, heavenly father, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty for all that is in the heavens and the earth.  Yours is the kingdom, oh Lord, and you are exalted as head above all. Riches and honor come from you and you rule over all.  In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and give strength to all. Thank you, my God, and praise your glorious name.

All things come from you. It is your pleasure to give me the kingdom. I belong to you. I have been bought with a price. My body is yours; holy and acceptable to you. I am a vessel for your spirit. You are the treasure in me. You fill me and then pour out of me as rivers of living water to those around me.  Hallelujah and thank you, Lord.

I Was

I Cor 6

I was a sinner. I was unrighteous and not in line to inherit the kingdom of God. But by God’s mercy and grace I was chosen and called to repentance. I was washed; I was sanctified; I was justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the spirit of God.

All things are lawful for me but I will not be dominated by anything. My body is meant for the Lord and the Lord for my body. I am joined to the Lord and become one spirit with him. My body is a temple for the Holy Spirit whom I have as a gift from God, and who dwells within me.  I am not my own. I have been bought with a price. I belong to God. By God’s presence and power, I lead the life that the Lord has assigned to me and to which God has called me.
