Luke 9

Lord Jesus, you are the Christ of God. You are my Lord and my savior. I follow you. I deny myself and take up your cross daily and follow you. I give my life to you, a living sacrifice, and I find my life in you.

There is no profit in getting all the “world life” offered, and losing life with you, Lord Jesus. I am in your kingdom and thankful to be there. You are the chosen one of God, our father, and I listen to you.

I receive these children you have given me in your name, Lord. I am least in your kingdom and in this ministry you have given me. My heart calls out for each of them and for their salvation. Call them, Lord, save them. Use me and mine in this place and time as you see fit to accomplish all you have decreed for here and now.

I set my face on what you have called me to do. Let those who are not yours fall away. I put my hand to your plow, great God, and by your grace and indwelling power, I stick with it till you call me home.

Proverbs 3; Psalm 23

Lord God, I love your word, and I keep it in front of my eyes. My life prospers because of your living word filling my thoughts, and preserving my new heart. I revel in your mercy and truth. Without your mercy and truth, I would be lost.

I trust in you, Lord, with all my heart. I do not lean on my own understanding, but in everything I do, I acknowledge you, and you direct my path.

I fear you, Father, and that is the start of my wisdom. I am filled by your Holy Spirit and commune with you in spirit and in truth constantly, and that keeps me wise.

Your wisdom is better than gold or silver, more precious than rubies. It adds length to my days. Riches and honor fill my life, and I live in pleasantness and peace.

Your divine wisdom and discretion fill me and lead me. They are life and grace in me.

I walk through this life in safety, and my foot does not stumble. I lie down, and I am not afraid. My sleep is sweet.

Goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life, and I dwell with you, my Lord, forever!

John 1,14,&1

Father, I am your child! By your grace, I have been born from above, not of blood or of the will of man, but born by your decree.

I am filled with your Holy Spirit, Father, and filled with your fullness. I receive grace upon grace. Thank you, Lord.

You became flesh, Lord Jesus, and walked among us. Through your word, and by the witness of your Holy Spirit, I have beheld your glory, and I live in your glory and presence now, day by day

I know you are the Messiah. You are the only begotten son of the Father, full of grace and truth. The law came through Moses, but grace and truth came through you, Lord Jesus. You are the way, the truth, and the life, and I have come to God through faith in you, by your grace and your propitiation.

Now I am your instrument. I am your voice crying out in the wilderness of this fallen world and saying, “Make straight the way of the Lord.” I baptize with water, Lord, but you baptize with the Holy Spirit of Almighty God!

Isaiah 55;Ephesians 3; Isaiah 55; 1 Peter 1; Isaiah 55

I come to you, Father, for I thirst for you. I listen carefully to you, and you fill me with what is good. My soul delights in you, Father, and you fill me exceedingly, abundantly, beyond all I can ask or think.

I incline my ear to you, and I come to you. I hear your word and your spirit, and my soul lives. You have made an everlasting covenant with me.

I seek you, and you draw me to you. I call on you, and you hear me with love and pleasure.

I had walked away from you in the past, but now, hallelujah, I have returned, and you have welcomed me back. You have sweet mercy on me, Father. You have pardoned my sin and rebellion abundantly.

Your word came forth to me like seed for the sower and bread for the eater. Your word took root in my mind and heart. It brought divine correction and everlasting life to me.

I am born again, by your incorruptible seed, your word of life.

Now I go forth in peace. Love and joy surround me. The mountains and hills break forth in singing, and I, along with all your creation, praise, and honor and glory in you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 

Hebrews 13&12

Heavenly Father, you are the God of Peace. You have brought up my Lord Jesus from the dead. He is my Great Shepherd, and through his blood of the everlasting covenant, he has made me complete in every good work to do his will. God, the Spirit, works in me what pleases you, Father, through Jesus Christ.

Now, in Christ, I lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily entangles me, and I run with endurance the race you, Father, have set before me

I keep my eyes on my Lord Jesus, and he writes my life’s story. He endured perfectly by looking at the joy of pleasing you, Father. He endured the trials and suffering of this flesh and returned to you, and he is seated now at your right hand.

So now, in Christ, I have come to Mount Zion, the city of the living God. In the spirit, I worship with innumerable angels and the general assembly of your body, the church, Lord Jesus. I worship with you, Father, and with the perfected spirits of all those who are yours, and who have gone on before me!

My Lord Jesus is here with us, and we are cleansed perfectly by the sprinkling of his blood that speaks truth forever.

Hebrews 10

Today, Lord Jesus, I do not draw back. With endurance, I gaze upon you, Lord Jesus, and I am born again. I am justified by your life and death and resurrection, and I live by faith.

I have the humble boldness to enter into the holiest place, into the presence of God, our father, by your blood, Lord Jesus. This is the new and living way to live. You established and consecrated this way for me to come through the veil, that is through your torn body.

Now you are my high priest forever over the house of God, our father. In you, Lord Jesus, I am able to draw near to God with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having my heart sprinkled from an evil conscience, and my body washed with pure water.

In joy, I hold fast to this confession without wavering, and I am filled with hope and rest.

You have come, Lord Jesus. You have done the will of God, our father. The volume of the book is complete and all about you, Lord. You have established and fulfilled the second covenant, Lord. I am sanctified and saved forever through the offering of your body, Lord Jesus, once for all! 

Hebrews 5,6,&7

Lord Jesus, God, our father, has called you and begotten you, as his son and as a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek. Though you are our father’s only begotten son, yet you learned obedience by the things you suffered.

You were perfect and perfected, and now, you are the author of eternal salvation for me, and for all who obey you.

I am filled with your Holy Spirit. I am diligent to enjoy and to hold onto the hope you give me, through your promises of divine eternal blessing. This hope I have is like an anchor for my soul. It is sure and steadfast. It holds me in the presence of God, our father, no longer separated by the veil of flesh.

All this is because you, Lord Jesus, are now my great high priest. The former commands are annulled, because they were weak and unprofitable, because the law made nothing perfect. But now, in you, Lord Jesus, I have a better, perfect hope, and through you, I draw near to God, my father.

You, Lord Jesus, are the surety of a better covenant. Thank you, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost! 

Hebrews 1&2

Lord Jesus, you are God. God, our father, has given you a throne forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, our father, has anointed you with the oil of gladness more than anyone.

You, Lord Jesus, laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. The world grows old and changes, but you are always the same, and your years do not fail.

God, the Father, loves you. He crowns you with glory and honor. He puts all things in subjection under your feet. He made you lower than the angels only in that you would suffer death.

You, Lord Jesus, for whom and by whom all things were made, would be made perfect through suffering.

In as much as we children have partaken of flesh and blood, you also shared in that, through death, that you would destroy him who had the power over death, that is the devil, and thereby, you would release all of us, who are yours, from the lifetime bondage of the fear of death.

Mark 10

Lord Jesus, Father God, thank you for my wife. You have given me a soft heart for her. In marriage to her, I have left my former way of life, and I have been joined to her. We have become one flesh. What you have joined together, Lord, will not be separated.

With joy and awestruck reverence, I receive your kingdom, Father. I desperately need you as God, Lord, and Savior. Without you, I would be dead, but with you, I have abundant, eternal life.

I leave lands and times and people to follow you, Lord Jesus. I take up the cross and follow you, for your sake and the sake of your gospel. I receive so much from you now and in the age to come. I receive places to live, mothers, fathers, children, land, all my needs and many desires, as well. I am humbled by your love and provision, Lord.

Even you, the Son of a Man, did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give your life a ransom for many.

Fill me, Holy Spirit, and lead me that I will be a servant like my Lord Jesus; that I will be slave to all that you want of me, Father, that I will be the man of God whom you created me to be! 

Mark 9; 2 Corinthians 10; Mark 9

Lord God, thank you that you have seasoned me with fire and with salt. You have broken up my hard ground and cleansed me of my fleshly lust.

Your word fills my mind now, and I am able to take my thoughts captive to you, Lord Jesus. I am able to live in your truth and find rest, even in the midst of a foolish and perverse world system.

I desire to be a servant to all whom you have given to me. I receive these folks and these times in your name. I try to share physical and spiritual things with them. I pray they will come to see you as the Christ, and they will see our father, who sent you, as Almighty, glorious God.

I watch what I take hold of and where I go and what I look at, so that I do not sin. I am in your kingdom, Lord Jesus. You hold me close.

Holy Spirit, keep me and lead me and teach me. You are the salt within me, and I am at peace.
