Not In Word But In Power

I Cor 4

I am a servant of Christ and a steward of the mystery of God. I pray that as a steward I will be faithful. He who judges me is the Lord so I judge nothing before the time until the Lord comes. He will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the councils of the heart and then each one’s praise will come from God.

I am not puffed up on behalf of one against another. I realize that whatever ministry I have I have received from God so why would I glory in myself if all that I have I received from God?  I may appear a fool for Christ’s sake but in reality I am wise in Christ. I am begotten of God, through the gospel delivered by the apostles.  By god’s grace I am rich and I reign in the kingdom. The kingdom of God is not in word but in power.

No Other Foundation

Thank you, Lord, that by your presence and power I am no longer carnal. I do not remain in envy, strife, and division. We all minister from our belief in the Lord Jesus.  One plants, another waters, but it is God who gives the increase. I live in and build on the foundation laid by the word of God and the apostles. No other foundation can anyone lay except that which is Jesus, the Christ

I build with gold, silver and precious stones. My work in the Lord becomes manifest. Each day declares the quality of my work because the work is revealed by the trials of each day. The plan of God is that I am the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in me.  The temple of God is holy and I am the temple.

Spiritually Discerned

My faith is not in the wisdom of man.  God’s wisdom is for those who are mature; it is not the wisdom of this age or the rulers of this age. God’s wisdom is in a mystery; it is a hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for my glory. The wisdom of God is, Christ in me my hope of glory.

“Eye has not seen nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love him. ”

But God has revealed them to me through his spirit. I have received the spirit who is from God that I might know the things that have been freely given to me by God.  The Holy Spirit teaches me these things comparing spiritual things with spiritual. The things of the spirit must be spiritually discerned. He who is spiritual judges all things. By the spirit of God, I have the mind of Christ.

Enriched In Everything

I Cor 1

Thank you, heavenly father, for your grace and peace to me from you and my Lord Jesus, the Christ.  I call on the name of Jesus. I believe he is the Christ, and he is my Lord. He gives me your grace, father. I am enriched in everything by him; in all utterance and all knowledge as his spirit is with me always, testifying to me of the truth of Christ so that I come up short in no gift, and I eagerly await the revelation of my Lord Jesus Christ.

He confirms me to the end that I may be blameless in the day of my Lord Jesus.  Father, you are perfectly faithful and you have called me into fellowship with Jesus, your son, my older brother and the Lord.  Christ is not divided. I am one with all the other saints; saved by the life of Jesus, my Lord

Wiser Than Man

I thank you, Lord God, that by your choice and provision I am in Christ and that Christ has become for me wisdom from you, my heavenly father, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.  I glory in you, father God, and in your son.

The world thinks it is so wise, and in its wisdom it denies God, but has God not made foolish the wisdom of this world. The message of the cross is a foolishness to those who are perishing, but to me the cross of Jesus is the power of God.  It has pleased you, heavenly father, to save those who believe through the foolishness of the message preached. I preach and believe and keep my eyes on Christ crucified.  To me Christ crucified and raised from the dead is the power of God and the wisdom of God.

I Call On The Name Of The Lord

God, my God, praise you. You are in the heavens and you do all that you please.

I love you, father, because you have heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. You have inclined your ear to me.  I suffered distress and anguish; I called on the Lord; I prayed, father, deliver my soul. Lord, you were gracious and merciful and righteous.

I am just a man with simple understanding and you have saved me. You have returned my soul to your rest. You have dealt bountifully with me. You have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.  I walk before you Lord, in the land of the living. Precious in your sight, oh Lord, is the death of your Saints. Oh Lord, I am your servant.  You have loosed my bonds and I offer to you thanksgiving.

To Your Glory

Father, thank you for your grace. Thank you, Holy Spirit, that you are with my spirit. Thank you, father, that Christ Jesus is in me and I am in him. Thank you, Lord, that you supply my every need according to your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.  By your grace to me and your presence in me I can do all things through you, Lord, who strengthen me. I rejoice in you, father, that in faith I have learned to be content in any and every circumstance.

I am not anxious, but in everything I make my supplication to you with thanksgiving. I keep my eyes on your word and my thoughts on things that are true and honorable and praiseworthy, and you, father, the God of peace, are with me.  I pay attention to my salvation. I work it out with seriousness. I pray my love for you, father, will grow every day and abound more and more.  I know you have begun a good work in me, Lord, and that you will complete your work in me to your glory.

By Grace

Phil. 2

I do all things without grumbling or complaining and in that, by your grace, Lord Jesus, I am blameless and innocent, a child of God without blemish in the mist of a crooked and twisted generation among whom I shine as a light in the world.  I hold fast to your word, Lord, so that in the Day of Christ I may be glad that I did not run or labor in vain.

Even if I am poured out as a drink offering I am glad and rejoice. I pray, Lord, that you fill me and lead me so that I will be a minister of proven worth, a son of God.  So I rejoice in you, Lord. I worship by the Spirit of God, and glory in Christ Jesus, and put no confidence in the flesh. Knowing Christ Jesus as my Lord is worth more than anything else.

Encouraged and Comforted

Phil. 2

I am encouraged in Christ. I am comforted by your love, Lord Jesus. I am glad of your presence in me, Holy Spirit. Today by your grace I do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, instead, in humility, I count others more significant than myself. I look  not only to my own interest, but also to the interests of others. My mind is renewed in Christ Jesus. I empty myself and take on the form of a servant to my heavenly father.  I humble myself by becoming obedient to God even to the point of death. Therefore, God guards me and sustains me, and Jesus is lifted up in my life and God is glorified.

Every day I work out the facts of my salvation with fear and trembling because God works in me to have the will to obey and to obey, and thus to please him.

Behold

Rev. 19

Heaven will open and we will behold a white horse. The one on the horse is called faithful and true, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. His eyes are like a flame of fire and on his head are many diadems .  He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood and the name by which he is called is: the Word of God.

From his mouth comes a sharp sword. He will rule the nations with a rod of iron. He will tread the wine press of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, king of kings and Lord of lords.  The beast and the kings of the earth will gather to make war against him. The beast and the false prophet are captured and thrown into the lake of fire. The rest are slain by the sword that comes from the mouth of our Lord who sits up on the horse.
