The Victory That Overcomes

1 Corinthians 15; 2 Thessalonians 1; 1 John 5

Fill me today, Holy Spirit, take charge of my thoughts and feelings that I would be steadfast in my faith in the Father and in my Lord Jesus. Today I am steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the lord, knowing that in the Lord my labor is not in vain.

Today, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, make me worthy of your calling on my life. Today by your power fulfill with me every resolve for good and every work of faith that you have ordained for me to be a part of. Be glorified in me today, Lord God, according to your grace and pleasure.

I know I have been born of you, heavenly father, because I believe that Jesus is the Christ. I love you, father, and I enjoy and want to obey your commandments. I keep your word in front of me and apply it to my thoughts intentionally and repetitiously. In that way my mind is renewed and I overcome the world’s lure and tribulation.

I believe that Jesus is your Christ and your son, father. This is my faith, and my faith is the victory that overcomes the world.

Succeeds

Psalms 89, 90 & 89

Lord God, you are my father. You are my God and the rock of my salvation. From everlasting to everlasting you are my god.

I am satisfied because of your great mercy. I am able to rejoice and be glad in all my days because I know your promises and I trust your perfect faithfulness.

I see the work you have done in my character and I enjoy the glory of your presence in me. Your beauty is upon me, lord. You establish the work of the ministry that you have for me. You see that the work of my hand is done your way.

I am a chosen servant of yours, Lord. I am an instrument available for your hand. You anoint me with your holy spirit. You strengthen me with your strong arm.

Enemies cannot outwit me, nor can the demons afflict your work in me. You beat down your foes and plague those that hate your gospel.

Your faithfulness and mercy are upon me. Your ministry with me succeeds and exalts your glory and strength, Father.

Freedom Indeed

John 8; 1John 4; John 15

Lord Jesus, I abide in your word and your word abides in me. I gladly, joyfully, and desperately continue in your word. I am your disciple, and your word I find you.

I find truth and that truth makes me free. Your life and your word, Lord Jesus, set me free. And when you set someone free, they are free indeed.

I was once a slave to sin but now in you, Lord Jesus, I am forever free of the penalty of sin and I have a new man dwelling in me who is stronger than the power of sin.

I keep my eye and my attention on your word and I abide in your love. I am able to pray the desires of my heart and know that they are your desires. Your word gives me your divine joy and that joy remains in me and fills me.

You chose me and you call me friend. You are not of this world, Lord Jesus, and you have chosen me out of this world to be with you forever. That is freedom indeed.

Helps Me

Romans 8; Isaiah 41

Father, conform me and shape me that I can mature as your friend. Thank you for your faithfulness to seek me and to recover me from the ends of the earth. You called me and chose me to be your servant and you will never cast me off

I do not fear for you are always with me. I am not dismayed for you are my God; you strengthen me; you are my help; you uphold Me with your righteous right hand.

Many in this world are incensed against your Gospel of salvation. You confound them and put them to shame. Those who war against you are as nothing before you; they shall disappear.

You are the Lord my God and you hold my hand. You proclaim to me, “fear not, I am your God and I help you faithfully”.

I do not fear, even though I am weak, because my redeemer is the Holy one of Israel. He is almighty, sovereign god, and he helps me.

Unveiled

2 Corinthians 3

I have confidence toward you, father, through Christ, that I am a letter of faith from Christ delivered to those folks that you have put around me.

My “text” is not written with ink but with the spirit of you, the living god. This message of the Gospel is not written on tablets instead, it is written on my heart.

I know I am not sufficient in my own self to claim anything as coming from me, but my sufficiency is from you my heavenly father. Father, you have made me sufficient to be a minister of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills but the Spirit gives life.

Moses’s ministry was glorious but the ministry of the Spirit is more glorious. The new covenant is permanent and its glory is permanent.

I thank you, father, that through Christ you have taken the veil away from my eyes. I have turned to the Lord and I see that the Lord is the Spirit and that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

I behold you, Lord, with unveiled face and I behold your glory and I am transformed into the image of the Lord Jesus Christ from one degree of glory to another.

Ordained Beforehand

1 Corinthians 2

It is written that, “Eye has not seen nor ear heard, nor has entered the heart the things which God has prepared for those who love him”. I thank you, father, that your Holy Spirit has begun to reveal to me much of those good things.

Holy Spirit, you fill me and you know me. You have been given to me by the father, so that I will know the things that have been freely given to me by God. You, Holy Spirit, teach me; not the world’s wisdom, but instead, spiritual wisdom.

I am able to rightly judge and discern all things. By your presence in me, holy spirit, I have the mind of Christ.

My faith is not in the wisdom of men, but my faith is in the power of God. As I mature in my faith I see the wisdom of God, not the wisdom of this world, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.

I speak of the wisdom of God; the hidden wisdom which you, father, ordained beforehand for this age and for your glory in me. I am determined to concentrate on Jesus Christ and him crucified and raised again.

Complete

Romans 10; Colossians 2

Today, Father, I receive Jesus Christ as my Savior by faith. I put my faith in your word and pursue righteousness by having faith in all that Christ has done and in all that he is for me.

I thank you for zeal to seek you, and for the knowledge to understand your plan of salvation. I know and live in the clear understanding that Jesus Christ is the end of the law of righteousness for me.

I believe Christ dwells in me now. I am born again by the spirit of God who dwells in me and never leaves me.

I do not have to go looking for Jesus instead, now, by your grace, father, Christ dwells in my heart and his word fills my thoughts and issues from my mouth.

My heart is purified toward you, father. With my heart I believe and with my mouth I confess that Jesus is Lord. He is my savior and he has become my righteousness. I am complete in Christ.

All Day Long

Psalms 34 & 71

I bless you, Lord, all the time. Your praise is continually in my mouth. I boast in you, Lord. I sought you, Lord, and you answered me and you delivered me.

I cry out and you hear me. You save me. Your angel, Lord, encamps around me. I taste your presence and your word, and I know that you are good.

I seek you, Lord, and I lack no good thing. I desire life. I keep my tongue from evil and I keep keep my lips from speaking deceit. I turn away from evil and I do good. I seek peace and I pursue it.

Oh Lord, You are my hope and my trust. My mouth is filled only with praise for you. I hope continually in you. My mouth tells of your righteous acts.

From my youth you have taught me. Your righteousness reaches the high heavens. My lips shout for joy and I sing praises to you. My tongue will talk of your righteous help all day long.

Perfectly Righteous

Psalms 94, 95, & 92

Lord, you know the thoughts and plottings of man; that they are futile unless they agree with you. Many “reports” approach my mind and try to cause anxieties, but your comfort delights my soul.

I am blessed, Lord, because you instruct me. You teach me your law. You give me rest even in days of adversity. You do not cast me off, and you will never forsake me, for I am a part of your inheritance.

You have given me a new heart, father, so that now I revel in your righteousness. I desire to live thought by thought in your righteousness.

I shout joyfully to you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, for you are the rock of my salvation. I dwell in your presence with thanksgiving, and I shout joyfully to you in song.

By your faithful presence and your abundant grace I still bear fruit even in older age. I am fresh and flourishing; able to declare that you, oh God, are upright. You are my rock and you are perfectly righteous and holy.

Before My Eyes

Psalms 98, 99, 100; Hebrews 12; Psalms 101; Mathew 5

I break forth in song to you, my great and loving father. I shout joyfully before you, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

The sea roars. The rivers clap their hands. The hills are joyful before you. You are coming to judge the earth. Your righteousness shall judge the world and the people. You are God, and you reign.

I exalt you. You are the only true God and the earth is your footstool. You are Holy.

I make a joyful shout to You, Lord. I serve you with gladness. I am in your presence with singing. You are God.

You have made me and I am yours, and I am joyfully like a sheep in your pasture.I keep my eyes on you, Lord Jesus, and you are the author and finisher of my life story.

Today by your grace, father, and led by you, Holy Spirit, I will behave wisely in a perfect way. I will set nothing wicked before my eyes. My heart will be pure toward you, father, and I will see you all day.
