Strengthened with Might

Ephesians 3; Galatians 5

I bow before you today, God, my father, and, the father of my Lord Jesus Christ. Grant me today, father, according to the riches of your glory to be strengthened with might through your spirit in my inner man.

Lord Jesus, dwell in my heart through faith. Fill me, Holy Spirit, that I would be rooted and grounded in love. Show me today in my heart so that I will comprehend the width and length and depth and height of the love of Christ that fills me and gives me eternal life and peace and joy; a divine love that passes knowledge.

Today I am filled with all the fullness of God. Glory be to you, father, as you work all these things in my life exceedingly abundantly beyond all I can ask or think according to your great power that dwells in me, and works in me.

I have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. I live in the Spirit of God and you, Holy Spirit, live in me. Today I am led by you, Holy Spirit. Take charge of my every thought, my every word, and my every action.

At Peace

Ephesians 2; James 2; Colossians 2 & 1

I thank you, father, for choosing me and giving me a measure of faith that through faith, by your grace, I am saved. It is not by my works, but instead, my salvation is a free gift from you.

I did not deserve it; it is a gift. I am not worthy of it, but Christ Jesus is worthy, and I am in Christ. You, father, imputed Christ’s righteousness to my account.

Therefore, by faith, I daily receive Jesus, your Christ, as my lord. I walk in him. I am rooted and built up in him, and established in your faith, father, and I abound in thanksgiving.

Jesus is your perfect image, father. He is preeminent over all creation. For by him all things were created in heaven and on earth.

In him all things hold together. He is the head of your body, the church, here on this earth. He is Lord of my life and preeminent in everything to do with this life in the flesh.

He is the sacrifice and the advocate that reconciles me to you, father. Through Christ you and I, father, are at peace.

Always Ready

Psalms 119; Hebrews 12; Romans 8; 1 Peter 3; Hebrews 4; 1 Peter 1; John 10

Father, I trust in your word and in your steadfast love for me. I keep my eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of my life story. For the joy of seeing me saved he endured the cross, looking beyond the shame to your glory, father.

Now my Lord Jesus is seated at your right hand making intercession for me and waiting for your kingdom to come on this earth.

Therefore, I sanctify the Lord Jesus in my heart. I ponder his life and meditate on his word, so that I am always ready to give an answer for the hope that lives within me with gentleness and respect to any who ask.

I have your word, father, and it lives and acts within me. By your word I have been born again, and I know that you, Lord Jesus, are the good shepherd. You know me and I know you. I listen to your voice and I follow you. You give me eternal life, and I will never perish, and no one will snatch me out of your hand. You, Lord Jesus, and the father are one.

Alive in Me Now

Ephesians 6; 1 Corinthians 6; Luke 10; Matthew 6; Colossians 3

Thank you, father, that I am prepared by your gospel for the circumstances and events that are likely to occur during this life in the flesh. I am aware of the tricks and schemes of the enemy. I am satisfied that you are God, father, and that you are sovereign, and that you will do things exactly as you have planned.

I understand, and I’m also pleased that I belong to you and that you will use my life here on earth as you have ordained in heaven.

I set my mind that whatever I do in word or in deed, I do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to you, father, through him.

I am prepared for the foolishness and sin of this world and the world system because your gospel has forewarned me, but, hallelujah, I am also comforted by your promises that, in the fullness of time, all will be well.

I have your authority over all the power of the enemy, and I have your steadfast love and eternal life alive in me now. I am hidden in the heavenlies with Christ in you, father. I have nothing to fear and everything to hope for.

Age to Come

Ephesians 1

Father, I have heard your word, the gospel of my salvation, and I believe that Jesus is your Messiah and I receive him as my lord.

I have been sealed with your promised Holy Spirit who is the guarantee of my inheritance until my redemption as a purchased possession of yours to the praise of your glory.

Father, today give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you. Open the eyes of my understanding and enlighten me that I will know intimately the hope of your calling and the riches of the glorious inheritance that I have as a saint .

Show me, Holy Spirit, so that I will see and know the exceeding greatness of the father’s power toward me as his child.

Father, let me grasp the magnitude and might of your power as you worked in Christ Jesus when you raised him from the dead and seated him at your right hand in heavenly places far above all power and principality and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come.

Father

Ephesians 2

I thank you, father, that you have raised me up together with yours and made me sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. You have shown your exceeding rich grace in your kindness to me in Christ Jesus.

For by your grace, I have been saved through faith, that is not my own effort, but it is a gift from you, father.

I am not saved by my works. However, I am your workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which you, father, prepared beforehand that I would walk in.

Now, I, who was once far off from you, father, have been brought near to you by the blood of Christ. He is my peace.

He has created in himself one new man and reconciled me to you, father, in one body through the cross, and put to death the enmity between you and your children. Through Christ we have access by one Spirit to you, father.

We are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of god.

Can Stand

Ephesians 6; 1 Peter 1 & 3; Ephesians 6

Today, lord, in the spirit, my feet are shod with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. I’m ready to stand against the schemes of the devil. For by your grace I am knowledgeable now of his ways.

I prepare my mind for action, and I am sober-minded. I set my hope fully on your grace, father, that is brought to me through the revelation of Jesus, your Christ and my lord.

In my heart I sanctify the Lord Jesus as holy. I’m always prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks me for a reason for the hope that is in me, and to do that with gentleness and respect.

I pray to be filled and led with your holy spirit, father, so that, wherever I walk, folks will see Christ Jesus alive and clear.

My foundation in the gospel is solid so that I can withstand the circumstances that come at me in this lifetime, and having done all I can to be prepared, I can stand.

Generosity

Jeremiah 32; Matthew 22 & 20

Hallelujah, father, you have made an everlasting covenant for me that you will not turn away from doing good to me. You put a proper fear of you in my heart, so that I will not turn away from you. You rejoice in doing me good. You plant me in this land of faithfulness with all my heart and soul.

Thank you, lord, that when I rebelled and ran off you sought me, brought me to my senses, and brought me back to you into a place of faithfulness where you have made me dwell in safety. I am yours, lord, and you are my god.

I love you, father, with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my mind and with all my strength. And by your grace and presence in me, I love my neighbor as myself.

Thank you, lord, for your generosity to me. Even though I was slow to come to you, you took me and placed me in your vineyard. I was unworthy and lost, but in your mercy you made me first.

Joyfully Reconciled

Ephesians 6; Hebrews 4; Romans 10; 2 Corinthians 5; Romans 8; 2 Corinthians 5

I take up your whole armor continually, father. Thank you that I have your truth. Through your word and your Holy Spirit I have a standard of truth that is absolute and eternal. It is living and active and enables me to judge the thoughts and intentions of my heart.

All day, everyday I put on the breastplate of righteousness and my heart is thoroughly guarded. I know and thankfully agree that Jesus Christ and his perfect life is my righteousness.

Jesus, the Christ, is the end of the law of righteousness to everyone who believes. Everyone who believes in him shall not be put to shame. For my sake, father, you made Jesus, who knew no sin, to be sin for me, so that in him I became the righteousness of God.

There is therefore, now no condemnation for me for the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death. I am joyfully reconciled to you, father.

Stand Firm

Ephesians 6; John 17; 1 Peter 1; John 8

Thank you, father, that by your grace and illumination to me I am strong in you. I know you and I commune with you. I am strong in your strength which is active and living in me.

Ceaselessly and instantly I put on your whole armor, father, and thereby, I am able to stand against the schemes of the devil. I realize that the real fight is against spiritual forces of evil in heavenly places.

I take up your whole armor, father, and I am able to withstand in the evil days and having done all, I stand firm.

I fasten your truth about me. Your word is truth. I am sanctified by your word. I am born again by your incorruptible seed which is your word.

I continue in your word for I am indeed your disciple, and I know your truth, and the truth sets me free. Whom you set free, father, is free indeed.
