The Glorious Presence

Mark 8; Ephesians 5; Galatians 5; Romans 8; 2 Corinthians 4

Good morning, Lord Jesus. I understand and believe that you are the Christ. By grace through faith you have saved me. Now I’m filled with God the Spirit. Now I’m led by the very presence of God. Now I am a son of God, our heavenly father.

Now I have the glorious presence of God in me like a treasure in a clay jar. I continue, for now, to live in this fleshy body, but I am always reckoning myself dead to the flesh for Jesus’s sake, so that the life of Jesus is manifested in my mortal flesh.

I know that he who raised you, Lord Jesus, will raise me also with you and bring me into his presence. So even though there are some momentary afflictions, I do not lose heart because I’m being prepared for an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison.

I do not look at those things that are seen but I keep my eyes on the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

Forever and Ever

Romans 16&15

Thank you, Holy Spirit, that you strengthen me according to the gospel and in accord with the word of the Lord Jesus. Thank you for some understanding of the mystery of the method of God’s salvation.

All that was kept secret for long ages, but now has been disclosed and made known to me and to all those who are chosen by God.

In this way I am able to be obedient in faith to the only wise God, my Father in Heaven. To you, father, be glory and honor forevermore through Jesus Christ.

You, father, are the God of hope, and you fill me with joy and peace as I seek you in faith. By the power of your Holy Spirit I abound in faith and hope. You, the God of peace, are with me each and every day forever and ever.

Sit and Listen

Luke 10&9; Romans 12

Lord Jesus, my Lord and Savior, my elder brother, I love you, and I praise you. I thank God, our father, for you and for your saving grace.

Lord, I sit at your feet and listen to your word. I rejoice that my name is written in your book of life. You let me see amazing things. Things that many prophets and kings desired to see.

By your grace and presence in me I hear from you. Many from the past have wished they could hear the things I hear from you. I commune with you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, ceaselessly.

Today, Lord, I deny myself. I take up my cross. And I follow you. You are the Christ of God. In view of your power, and love, and mercy, I present my body to you today as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to you.

Hallelujah, I am no longer conformed to this world, instead I am transformed as you, Lord, renew my mind day by day and thought by thought.

Hold Me Fast

2 Peter 1

Thank you, father, for the divine allotment of saving faith. I am saved just like your apostles and all those who are yours. Saved by the same faith in your righteousness, father, and in the righteousness of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Grace and peace are multiplied to me, father, because through Christ Jesus I know you. I live in the armor of you, my God. You have granted to me all things that pertain to life and godliness by bringing me to a knowledge of you, Lord.

In Christ I have your precious and very great promises, and through them, I have become a partaker of your divine nature, and I have escaped from the corruption that is in this world because of sinful desires.

For this reason I am diligent to be sure to see in my faith virtue, and then knowledge, and temperance, and perseverance, and godliness, and brotherly love, and divine love. These qualities in me prove that you, Lord Jesus, dwell in me and hold me fast.

Here I Go

1 Chronicles 28; Ephesians 2

Father, today I seek out your presence in me, and I obey your word. You are my God. In you I possess the good things you have for me, and I have an inheritance for all the young ones you have given to me.

I tell my young ones to know you, father, the only God. I tell them to come to know you intimately, as I have known you, and to love you, and to serve you with a whole heart and with a willing mind.

I tell them that you search our hearts, and you understand every plan and thought. I tell them that if they seek you, you will be found.

Thank you, father, that you choose all of us who are yours to do the things you have ordained for us to do, and then you strengthen us and see that we accomplish all those things.

I thank you that I am your workmanship, and I have been created by you to walk in good works that you ordained beforehand I would walk in in Christ jesus.

So here I go.

A Great Light

Isaiah 9&54

The world does walk in darkness, father, but to those who you have chosen a great light has appeared. For unto us a child is born, to us a son, and a brother, and a savior, is given.

The real government is on his shoulders, and he is clearly called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of his government and of his peace there will be no end. His kingdom is from forever, to forever. His kingdom establishes and upholds justice and righteousness. Your zeal and energy, father, assures all these things as true and accomplished.

His name is Jesus, your Christ, father. In Christ I do not fear. I am not ashamed. I am not confounded.

With everlasting love you have compassion on me. You, oh Lord, are my redeemer. Your steadfast love shall never depart from me. Your covenant of peace with me will never be removed. I am forever established in your righteousness.

So Called Wisdom

Isaiah 5&8

Lord God, help us. And thank you that you do help us. We live in a time where many of our leaders and many of our people call evil good and good evil. They put out darkness for light, and light is called darkness. They put out bondage and call it freedom.

They believe they are wise, and others are deceived by their so-called wisdom. They have rejected your law, father, the Lord of hosts, and they despise your holy word.

But thank you, father, that you have spoken to all those who are yours. You have put your strong hands on each of us and warned us not to walk in the way of those people who are contrary to you.

You have shown me, and told me, and taught me to honor you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as holy. You have told me to fear you and you only with a just and proper fear.

You are my sanctuary. You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are an offense to those who are lost but to those who are yours you are salvation.

Just as He Walked

1 John 1&2

You, oh Lord, my God, are light. In you is no darkness at all. I walk in your light, father, and I have fellowship with you and those who are yours, and the blood of Jesus Christ, your son and my elder brother, cleanses me from all sin.

Too often, I have sinned, but I have confessed my sin, father, and thankfully, I know you are faithful and just to forgive my sin and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

I do not want to sin ever again, but if I do, I have an advocate with you, father. He is Jesus Christ, the righteous. He, himself, is the propitiation for my sins.

I know he is my savior, and I know I know him, because I love his word. I keep his word in front of my eyes. His word abides in me and fills me with light. His word perfects my heart and my thoughts. I abide in Jesus, and he abides in me, and I begin to walk just as he walked.

A Living Communion

Romans 8; Galatians 4; Ephesians 4

Lord God, have your will with me today. I believe your purpose for me is to conform me to the image of your son, my Lord, Christ Jesus. I love you, and l know all things work together for good in my life as that purpose is accomplished in me.

You predestined me for that purpose, and you have called me to it. In Christ, I have been justified. I am being sanctified, and I will be glorified more and more each day forever.

Christ is being formed in me. I am filled with his Holy Spirit. In faith I am united with you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I am filled with a knowledge, a living communion with Jesus, and I am brought to a perfect man to the measure of the stature of the fullness of christ.

By your grace on me and your presence in me I am no longer a child tossed to and fro by wrong doctrine or the trickery of man instead, speaking the truth in love I am growing up into the fullness of Christ who is my head, my Lord, my Savior.

Together with Christ Jesus

Ephesians 1&2; Luke 10

Father, you are the God of my Lord Jesus Christ. You are the father of glory, and by your grace and love, you have given to me your spirit of wisdom and revelation so that I can know you.

You have enlightened the eyes of my heart so that I began to know the hope to which you have called me. I see the riches of the glorious inheritance you have for me. I feel your presence and your immeasurable power in and over me.

You have given me the gift of faith and through that faith I have been saved. Even though I was dead in my trespasses you, father, were rich in mercy, and you made me alive together with Christ Jesus. You raised me up with him, and you have seated me with him in heavenly places.

I am so blessed to see you and to hear your word, father. Many prophets and kings desired to see what I have seen and to hear what I have heard. You are God, and I love you with all my heart, and with all my soul, and with all my strength, and with all my mind.
