Increase and Abound

1 Thessalonians 2,3&4

Lord God, fill me, Holy Spirit, that I will be gentle and joyful, and well pleased to impart to those who you have made dear to me your gospel and also my own life.

Lead me today, Holy Spirit, that I would walk worthy of God, my father, who has called me into his own kingdom and glory.

With gladness, father, I receive your word. I welcome it as truth, real divine truth, that works effectively in me.

Lord, make me increase and abound in love for others and establish my heart blameless in holiness before you.

Thank you, father, that you sanctify me. I abstain from immoral behavior. By your grace I possess my own vessel in sanctification and honor free from sinful passion. For you, father, did not call me to uncleanness, but instead you called me to holiness which I receive and agree to. Thank you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Member of the Household

2 Timothy 3; Ephesians 2

Lord, today I continue to walk in the things that you have taught me through your holy scripture, and through the witnesses you have put in my life, and through the witness of your Spirit to my spirit. By faith in Jesus you have made me wise unto salvation.

Your scriptures are words inspired by you, father. They are profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness so that, each person of God is complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

For each of us who are yours are your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which you, father, ordained beforehand we would walk in.

By your grace, and word, and presence in me, I am no longer a stranger and foreigner. But now, hallelujah, I am a fellow citizen with the saints, and a member of your household, father God.

Darkness Is Long Past

1 John 2 & 1; 2 Timothy 2; Romans 12

Lord Jesus, you yourself are the propitiation for my sins. Thank you for your perfectly efficacious sacrifice. You are my advocate with God, our father.

Your Holy Spirit fills me so that I do not continue in sin. If I do sin or drift towards sin, your Holy Spirit convicts and teaches me. I confess and receive your forgiveness and cleansing. You grant me repentance and I move on.

I keep my eyes on your word. Your word renews my mind, and I am transformed. You abide in me, and I abide in you, and I walk just as you walked, Lord Jesus.

For me darkness is long past, and your divine light shines in my life. I am strong in you, Lord. Your word, oh lord, abides in me. By your grace on me and your presence in me I have overcome the wicked one.

Redeemed and Filled

Titus 3 & 2

Good morning, Holy Spirit. Fill me today and take charge of my every thought so that I will be subject to authority and obedient; that I will be ready for every good work; that I will speak evil of no one; that I will be peaceable, gentle, and show humility to all.

I once was stubborn and rebellious, but you, Lord Jesus, opened my eyes to my sin and to your kindness and love. According to the mercy of God, our father, you saved me through the washing of regeneration and the daily renewing of the Holy Spirit.

Father, you poured your Holy Spirit out on me abundantly through Jesus Christ, my savior. I have been justified by his grace, and I have become an heir according to the hope of eternal life.

Your grace, father, which brings salvation, has clearly appeared to me and taught me to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts.

Instead, I live soberly and righteously in this present age. I keep my eyes on my Lord and Savior, Jesus, your Christ, and I live a life redeemed from the past and filled with hope and your glorious presence, father.

No Longer In Shame

Romans 10

The righteousness of faith says,” the word is near me, in my mouth and in my heart.” I agree with God on the things that Jesus says and on who the word says Jesus is.

I believe in my heart, heavenly father, that you raised Jesus from the dead. By your grace, through faith in your gospel, I am saved.

With my heart I believe unto righteousness, and with my mouth I speak your very words, father. I believe in you and your gospel, father. Through that faith I am saved, and I no longer live in shame.

I am your child, father. You are the Lord of my life. I have called on you, and I am saved.

With joy and desperate need, I submit to the righteousness that you, father, have established in Christ.

I believe, and I know that Jesus, the Christ, is the end of the law of righteousness. In Christ I am made the righteousness of God. Hallelujah and thank you, Father!

Not Entangled

2 Timothy 2

Yes, father, I keep the good things which you have committed to me by the Holy Spirit who dwells in me. I am strong in your grace, father, which I have found through my Lord Jesus. You have granted me faith in Jesus, and in Jesus is your grace.

I endure hardship as a good soldier. I do not entangle myself with the affairs of this life. Instead, I seek to be led by your Holy Spirit, father, and to be pleasing to you.

Jesus Christ was raised from the dead clearly showing your presence and power, father. Much of the world system does not like that resurrection and the gospel that proclaims it. But your word cannot be chained or stopped.

You, father, are faithful and able to see that every one of your elect obtains the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. This is the truth.

For if I died with him I shall also live with him. If I endure I shall reign with him. You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are faithful, and I belong to you.

Reverence

1 Timothy 2

Lord, I thank you for the leadership we have in this country and for our history of leaders. I pray that you will reveal any of our leaders who are liars, and that the truth would become obvious to a large majority of our country.

I pray you would call our leaders to faith in Jesus, and grant them salvation, and wisdom, and courage, to make Godly choices.

I pray for truth and honor even in the leaders that are not believers, so that this nation could prosper, and so that we, the citizens, could lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and reverence.

You, father, are the only God, and you Lord Jesus are the only Savior. Holy Spirit, make our leaders come to the knowledge of the truth. Open their eyes that they would see that you are God, and that Jesus is your mediator between them and you.

Give us better leaders. Give us a more Godly country, father. Let us live in peace and quiet with reverence for you as our God.

Forevermore

Psalm 3, 1 & 16; Colossians 3; Psalm 16

Lord, you are my shield and my glory. You are the one who lifts my head. I cry out to you, and you hear me. You sustain me, and I do not fear.

I am blessed and filled with your Spirit, oh Lord. I do not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor do I stand in the way of sinners, nor do I sit in the seat of the scornful.

My delight is in your word and in your way, father. I meditate on your word day and night. I am like a tree planted by the river of life. I bring forth my fruit in season, and my leaf does not wither, and whatsoever I do prospers.

I bless you, lord, and you give me counsel. You instruct me. I am hidden with Christ in you, father, and I shall not be moved.

Therefore, my heart is glad, and I rejoice in your glory, father. You show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy, and at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Now

John 17

Thank you, father, that in the name of Jesus, you keep me. I am one with all three of you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as you are one with each other. I pray that Jesus, the Christ, will be glorified in me each and every day.

By your grace I am filled with divine joy. Now, in Christ I am no longer of this world. Now, because I am in Christ, I am kept safe from the evil one. I am sanctified by your truth, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Your word is truth and life.

I am one with you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As you, father, are in Christ, and as he is in you, I also am one with you. The glory and perfection of Christ Jesus dwells in me now.

Today I know you, father, and I am one with you in glory and peace. In Jesus’s name I know that you love me with the same love you have for Jesus, your only begotten son and my Lord and elder brother.

In That Way

John 14&15

I love you, Lord Jesus, and I keep my eyes on your word. I know that you and the father love me, and that you fill me and dwell with me. I am filled with your Holy Spirit who teaches me what I need to know, and who reminds me of all that you have said to me.

In that way I am filled with peace; divine peace that never passes away. Not peace like the world gives. So, my heart is not troubled, and I am not afraid.

You are the true vine, Lord Jesus, and God, our father, is the vine dresser. I am a branch of the vine. Your word has cleaned me and pruned me so that I will bear the fruit of your Holy Spirit.

I abide in you, Lord Jesus, and you abide in me. In that way I bear much fruit – eternal fruit that lasts and suits the will of our father and glorifies him.
