Perfect Heart Toward God

I Peter 2

Hallelujah, by your grace upon me and your presence in me, Lord Jesus, today, I lay aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies and envies, and all evil speaking. As a newborn babe I desire the sincere milk of your word so that I may grow in your image, Jesus. I have tasted your lordship and the fullness of your presence and I know it is good and that you are so very gracious to me.

You are the living stone, Lord Jesus, The Rock, the Chief cornerstone. Upon you the spiritual House of God, our Father, is built. I also am of the same spiritual DNA and I am a little, but lively, stone that is added to the buildup of my father’s spiritual house. I am a member of a holy priesthood offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to almighty God, my father, through Jesus Christ, my Lord. I believe my Lord Jesus and therefore, I am not confounded. Today I crave your word and your presence.

As He Is Holy

I Peter 1

By the ministry and life of Jesus Christ and by God’s grace, I believe in God. I believe God is my heavenly father and that he has adopted me as his child. To justify and deliver me, he placed the punishment of my sin on Jesus, and he imputed Jesus’s righteousness to my account. He raised Jesus up from the dead and gave him glory that, through faith in Jesus, I would see God. Through diligent faith in Christ my soul is purified. I am born again of incorruptible seed by the word of God who lives and abides in me forever.

Therefore, I gird up the loins of my mind; I am sober and I hope always for the grace of God to be brought to me dailyly by the revelation of Jesus Christ. I no longer fashion my thoughts according to my former lusts when I was ignorant, but now I try to make every part of my life and lifestyle holy. My God, whom I fear properly, has called me to be holy as he is holy.

For Me Forever

I Peter 5, PS 34&23, Romans 5, Is 46, Rm 14, Hb 7

Lord, I bow down before you, humble under your mighty hand, and I cast my cares on you for I know you care for me. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but you, father, deliver me out of them all. You have redeemed my life and I take refuge in you. Your rod and your staff comfort me and give me peace. I seek you, Lord, and I lack no good thing. I rejoice in sufferings for suffering produces endurance and endurance produces character and character produces hope and hope does not put me to shame because your love has been poured into my heart, father, through your holy Spirit who you have given to me.

Even in my old age you are my God and to gray hairs you carry me. You have made me; you bear me; you carry me and you save me. As long as I live, I live to you, father, and if I die, I die to you, father. So then, whether I live or whether I die, I am yours, Lord. I draw near to you, father, and I am utterly saved because my Lord Jesus makes intercession to you for me forever.

Endures Forever

Ps. 118, John 14, +

Thank you, Father, that you have opened to me the gates of righteousness that I may enter through them. The gate is the Lord Jesus. He is the way, the truth and the life. I have come to you, God, my father, through him. Jesus is the stone the builders rejected and he has become the cornerstone of the kingdom of the almighty and only true God.

Issues of the flesh and the foolishness of man’s, “wisdom” surround me like bees, but in the name of the Lord I cut them off. The Lord is my strength and my song. He has become my salvation. I sing glad songs of my Lord’s salvation. The spirit of God fills my body and leads my thoughts valiantly to exalt my God and to enjoy obeying my Lord.

This is a day you have made, father, and I rejoice and I am glad in it. You have made your light to shine on me. You are my God and I give thanks to you. I extol you, father, and you, Lord Jesus, and you, holy Spirit; you are good and your steadfast love endures forever.

To Live for the Will of God

1 Peter 5&4

Thank you, father, for a kingdom that can’t be moved. By grace I am a part of your kingdom and I am of use to you as you see fit. I come to you today with reverence and godly fear. I cast all my anxieties on you, Father, for I know you care for me. I resist evil in all its personifications and machianations and stay firm in my faith knowing that after a time, you, my heavenly father, the God of all grace, will yourself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish me in your eternal glory in Christ. Your care, father, is my refuge. Your word is my food.

Christ suffered in his flesh for me as an atonement for my sin, and as a hero showing me the way to live holy in this world. So, by your grace, father, I take up the same way of thinking. I suffer this flesh to suffer and not to lead me nor to draw me into living any longer in human passions, but instead to live for the will of God the rest of my time on this earth in this body.

Far More Abundantly

2 Corinthians 12, Gal. 6, Ps. 32, Rom 8, Mt. 7 & Eph. 3

Lord, you are God, all that is good is of you. I thank you that by your grace I have been saved and adopted into the family of God. I thank you that you now work in me to do your will and your way. So, far be it for me to boast except in the cross of my Lord Jesus Christ by which the world has been crucified to me and I have been crucified to the world.

Your grace is sufficient for me, for your power, father, is made perfect in my weakness. I boast all the more in my weakness, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. When I am weak, then I am strong.

You, o Lord, are a hiding place for me. You preserve me from trouble. You surround me with shouts of deliverance. You instruct me and teach me in the way I should go, and you counsel me with your eye upon me. You are for me, Father, nothing can succeed against me. You give good things to me as I ask and beyond all I ask or think.

On Wings Like Eagles

Isaiah 40,41,&55; John 6

My God, you are great and mighty. You have come to me with might. Your reward is your very presence. You look after me as a Shepherd tends his flock. You gather me into your arms, you carry me and you gently lead me. You are the everlasting God, the creator of all. You do not faint or grow weary. I wait upon you, my lord, and I renew my strength. I mount up on wings like eagles. I run and I am not weary. I walk and I am not faint.

You tell me, father, that you have chosen me and that you will never cast me out. I am not dismayed because you are my God. You strengthen me, you help me, you uphold me with your righteous right hand. I go out in joy and I am led forth in peace, the mountains and the hills before me break forth into singing and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. All around me grows good and sweet, and the name of the Lord is glorified forever in every way.

Faith, Meekness & Temperance

Hebrews 11+, Galatians 5

I look for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. I desire a better country that is a heavenly country. My God is able to keep me and hold me and council me while I am a sorjourner in this world, and then someday, he is able to take me home to be with him forever.

My God has prepared an ark for me and my family. He is the Lord Jesus, my propitiation for sin, my Mercy seat, my ark. By this ark, God, my father, has condemned the world, and has saved his family.

I have entered into Christ and I’m saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus as the Christ. I follow my Lord Jesus now, not knowing whether I go, but knowing that following him reconciles me to God, and gives me eternal life, and raises up a new man in me. A new man who is filled with love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, Faith, meekness, and temperance.

Member of the Church

Hebrews 10

I have been sanctified once for all by the offering of the body of Jesus, my Lord and my savior. God, my heavenly father, has placed his laws into my heart and he has written his word in my mind. My sins and iniquities he remembers no more. Now I have remission of sin that I can have a boldness to enter into the holiest, the very presence of God, because of and by the sacrifice of Jesus. This is the new and living way that Jesus consecrated for me through the veil of flesh and into the presence of God.

Therefore, I draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, knowing my heart is sprinkled from an evil conscience and my body is washed with pure water. I hold fast to the profession of my faith without wavering for I know my Lord is faithful to do all he has promised. I encourage those fellow believers that God has given to me as family, and I am faithful to assemble myself with other believers as a member of the Church of my Lord Jesus, the Christ.

In My Heart

Hebrews 9,7&8

Jesus, the Christ, was offered once to bear my sins. Now, I look for him to appear a second time to end sin and complete my salvation. For Jesus is the perfect high priest. He is able to save to the uttermost those that come to God through him because he daily makes intercession with the father for those who are his. He made his sacrifice once for all in the true Tabernacle which the Lord pitched in the heavens and not the Tabernacle made by man.

Now the Lord Jesus is set at the right hand of the throne of majesty in the heavens. All the earthly Tabernacle worship was a shadow of the heavenly things. Now we have a more excellent priest who is the mediator of a better covenant which is established upon better promises. Our heavenly father has made a new covenant with us through Christ; not according to the old covenant. For with this new covenant, God, my father, has put his laws into my mind and written them in my heart, and he has made himself my God and made me his child.
