Upon me

Psalm 33

Your word, Father, is right, and all your work is done in truth. You are righteousness and justice, and the earth is full of your goodness. You, oh Lord, are righteous, and I praise you. I sing to you a new song. I play with the skill you give me, and I shout with joy.

By your word, the heavens were made. All of creation was breathed out of your mouth.

Your eye is upon me, Lord, for you created me to fear you, and to be yours. In your choice, I have mercy and hope. You have delivered me from death into eternal life. I live in you.

My soul waits on you, Lord, and you are my help and my shield. My heart rejoices in you and in your gift of salvation. I trust in your holy name, and your mercy is upon me.

Come Upon Me

Psalm 28; Galatians 5&3; John 3; Romans 8; Psalm 28

You are blessed, oh Lord. You hear the voice of my supplications. You are my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in you, and I am helped.

You fill me with your Holy Spirit, and I am led in peace and joy. I no longer fulfill the lust of my flesh. I am free of the law of sin and death. I live in your spirit, Father, and your spirit dwells in me.

I walk now in your spirit. This life I live today in my flesh, I live by faith in Jesus, your son and my savior. He loves me and gave himself for my salvation.

Lord Jesus, you have redeemed me from the curse of the law by taking the punishment for me. Now through your propitiation, and by your grace, all the blessings of Abraham come upon me.

I am born from above by your spirit. I have eternal life and a full inheritance with you, Father. Nothing can separate me from your perfect, sovereign love. Therefore, my heart rejoices greatly, and with my song, I praise you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Satisfy and Renew

Psalm 103

I bless you, Lord, with my whole body and soul and strength. I revel in and recall all your benefits. You have forgiven all my iniquities. You have healed all my diseases. You have redeemed my life from destruction. You crown me with loving kindness and tender mercies. You satisfy my mouth with good things, and you renew my youth like the eagles.

You, oh Lord, are merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy. But, you will not always strive with men. Nor will you hold back your anger forever.

You will, however, be merciful to those who fear you. For those of us who receive you and believe in Christ Jesus, you remove our transgressions.

Like a perfect father, you pity those who are your children for you know our frame; you remember we are dust; our days are short. Our time in this flesh is temporary, but our life with you is everlasting and covered with divine righteousness.

Perfected

Luke 11; Romans 8; Galatians 5

Holy Spirit, cleanse my inward parts. I hear your word, and I obey it. I do not need a sign because I have your witness to me through your presence in me.

Today, I am led by you, Holy Spirit, and I am free of the law of sin and death. I have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. I live in you, Holy Spirit, and I walk in you, day by day, moment by moment.

I commune with you, Holy Spirit, and the Father knows me and hears me. I ask, and it is given to me. I seek, and I find. I knock, and the door is opened to me.

Father, you love me with a perfect love, and you give me your Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit, you fill me with eternal life. By you, I am born from above. You dwell in me. You teach me and comfort me. You show me Christ Jesus and make his word alive in me. By your presence, I am saved. I am kept. I am converted. I am perfected by the Father‘s perfection!

I Move Out

Luke 9; Matthew 3; Romans 12; Luke 9

Lord Jesus, you are the Christ of God. I receive you as my Lord and my Savior. I come after you. I deny myself, and I take up my cross daily, and I am led by your Holy Spirit and every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, our father.

I give my life as a living sacrifice, humbled by your mercies to me, Father, and you transform me by renewing my mind and perfecting my heart, day by day and thought by thought.

I have put my hands on your gospel plow, and I look forward to you, Lord Jesus. By your grace and indwelling spirit, I move out. I preach and live your salvation and the kingdom of God, our father.

Greatly

1 Peter 1; Romans 12

Good morning, Father! Today I gird up the loins of my mind. I am sober, and I rest my hope fully upon the grace that is mine by the revelation of and the communion with you, Lord Jesus.

I rejoice greatly, even though sometimes I am grieved by various trials, but I know these test the genuineness of my faith. I pray my faith, be strong and precious, and be found to praise and honor and glorify you, Lord Jesus.

Thank you, Father, that, in your abundant mercy, you called me and chose me. Then you begot me again to a living hope through the resurrection of my Lord Jesus from the dead.

You included me into an inheritance, incorruptible and undefiled, that does not fade away, and that is kept for me in heaven. Hallelujah!

I rejoice in hope. I am patient in tribulation, and I am ceaseless in prayer.

Hold Me Fast

Hebrews 6; Luke 6

Lord Jesus, my faith in your propitiation is a sure and steadfast anchor for my soul. Your life and sacrifice and resurrection, hold me fast in the very presence of God, our father. You have entered the holiest place behind the veil, and you have taken me with you. You are my perfect high priest forever.

God, our father, is just and merciful. He sets forth and moves in my work and labor of love. In your name, Father, and led by your sweet Holy Spirit, I have ministered, and I do minister to your saints. I am not sluggish, instead I am diligent to commune with you in spirit and in truth and to live in the assurance of hope until you call me home. So, by your grace, Father, I go on to perfection in Christ Jesus.

Lord Jesus, you are the Lord of my life. I do the things you say. I come to you, and I stay in your word and in communion with your spirit. I dig down deep, and I lay a foundation on you, Lord, as my rock. Floods and trials come and beat against my faith, but it cannot be shaken, because it is founded on you, Lord Jesus. You are the rock of my foundation.

I Know

Psalm 71; 1 Corinthians 1; Romans 3,5,6,8, & 10

Father, hallelujah, my mouth tells of your righteousness, and I revel in your salvation all the day.

You have taught me from my youth, and I always declare your wondrous work. Now as I am older and grey headed, you stay with me. You fill me with wisdom, righteousness, redemption, and sanctification so that I may declare your strength to this generation and tell of your power to all who come to listen.

I have sinned and fallen short of your glory, Father, but you have provided a righteousness for me apart from obeying the law. You have given me righteousness through faith in Jesus as your Messiah and my savior.

You showed me your love for me in that, even while I was lost in sin and self, Christ died for me. The wages for my sin was death, but you, Father, through Christ Jesus, as my Lord, gave me the gift of eternal life.

Now, because I am in Christ, there is no longer condemnation for me. The law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has sent me free from the law of sin and death.

Now I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and I know you, Father, raised Christ Jesus from the dead, and so, I know I am saved.

Complete and Throughly Equipped

2 Timothy 2; John 6; 2 Timothy 2&3

Good morning, Father, today I am diligent to present myself to you as a worker who need not be ashamed, one who has studied your word and communed with your Holy Spirit. A person who can rightly divide and understand and be matured by your word of truth.

I shun profane and idle babblings. They just lead to ungodliness and confusion. They waste time and overthrow faith.

You are almighty and sovereign, Father, and I live in faith on that foundation. You know those who are yours. Everyone who is yours, will come to faith and surrender to Jesus, and our Lord Jesus will cast none of them out. All who were yours will depart from iniquity.

In your kingdom, there are people with all kinds of past and potential. Some live honorably, others dishonorably. But all those who are yours, Father, will be cleansed and become honorable and useful to you in every good work.

Our past, even if nasty and lost, does not stop us if we are chosen by you, because you are our redeemer. You bring us to our senses. You grant us repentance, and you bring us to new life. We become your people, complete and thoroughly equipped for every good work.

No Fret

Psalm 36&37

Dear God, your loving kindness is precious. All of us who are yours put our trust under the shadow of your wings. We are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of your house. You give us to drink from the river of your pleasures for you have the fountain of life, in your light, we see light.

I trust in you, Father, and your good spirit works within me. I dwell where you have planted me, and I feed on your word and commune with your spirit. I delight myself in your salvation and gospel, and you give me the desires of my new born heart.

I commit my life to you, Father, day by day, and I trust in you. You bring forth your kingdom in me. You clothe me with the righteousness of Jesus, your Christ and my Lord. Your mercy and truth shine in me and for me, like a bright noonday light.

I rest in you, Lord, and I live in patient hope, with joy inexpressible and full of your glory. I have ceased from anger, and I have forsaken wrath. Now, hallelujah, and forever, I do not fret.
