What Matters

Psalm 33

Father, I rejoice in you and in your love for me. You are righteous, and by your grace, you have begun to work your righteousness into me and out of me. I praise you, as you renew my mind. I make melody with the skill you have given me. I sing to you a new song. I shout for joy.

Your word, oh Lord, is right. All your work is done in truth. You love righteousness and justice. The earth is full of your goodness, Father. You, oh Lord, bring the counsel of man to nothing. The foolish plans of the peoples have no effect on you. Your council, Father, is what matters, and your council stands forever.

Bring our nation back to you, Father, for a nation who worships you as almighty, sovereign God, is blessed. In you, Father, we have a sure and beautiful inheritance.

My soul waits on you, Lord. You are my help and my shield. My heart rejoices in you. I trust in you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and your loving kindness and tender mercy is upon me now and forever.

Cleanse and Renew

Romans 10; Colossians 1; Matthew 3 & 4

Good morning, Lord Jesus. Thank you for my salvation. You are my Lord and my Savior. I say with my mouth that you are Lord, and I believe in my heart that God, our father, raised you from the dead.

Now, by God’s decree and election, you, Lord, live in me through God the Spirit. By your grace, I am baptized with the Holy Spirit, and you, Holy Spirit, burn like a fire within me.

The words of Jesus and the Apostles cleanse me of lies and lusts like a fire cleanses the earth, and you, Lord Jesus, fan that fire, and you thoroughly cleanse my heart and renew my mind.

Now, I do not live by bread alone, but I live by every word that proceeds from your throne and your mouth, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. I do not test you, Father. I receive you by faith and trust your promises.

I worship you, Lord. You only do I worship and serve.

You Have Chosen Me

Psalm 103; Ephesians 2; Psalm 103; 2 Corinthians 12; John 15; Ephesians 1

Lord God, I say, bless you. Thank you that by your grace, through faith, my soul is alive and able to turn to you and to commune with you, and able to say, bless you, Lord.

Now, through your word, I know your benefits. You forgive my iniquities. You heal my diseases. You have redeemed my life from destruction. You have crowned me with loving kindness and tender mercies.

You satisfy my mouth with good things. Good physical food yes, but more than that, your living word, through praise and song, in my heart and out of my mouth. My youth is renewed like feathers renewed on an eagle.

You, Father, are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in mercy. Your mercy is great to those who fear you.

You know me, Lord. You know I came from dust. You know my weakness, but you are my strength now because, by your grace and for your purposes, you have chosen me.

Yours Eternally

1 Corinthians 6; 2 Corinthians 5; Hebrews 10; Colossians 1; Galatians 5; Luke 10; Romans 8

Lord Jesus, thank you for my salvation. I belong to you. I have been bought with a price.

Now I am in you, Lord Jesus, and you are in me. I am a new creation. The old has passed, and now behold, all is new in me, a new man, reconciled to God, my father, and cleansed and forgiven of my sins.

You dwell in me, Lord Jesus, and that is glorious. I am led by your Holy Spirit in every thought and intention. You, Lord Jesus, have given me authority to trample over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me.

I thank you for the authority and protection, nevertheless, more than for authority, I rejoice that my name is written in heaven.

I rejoice, and again I say I rejoice, because I belong to you Lord Jesus, and nothing and no one can separate me from your love, Lord. I am yours eternally.

Revived

Psalm 119; 1 Peter 1

Hallelujah, Father, you give me understanding through your word. My prayers and supplications come before you. You hear me and deliver me according to your promises and provisions.

My lips utter praises to you. Your word stays on my tongue, and you teach me your statutes. Your word is righteousness.

Your law is my delight, and by your word, I have salvation and delight. My soul lives, and I praise you.

My heart stands in awe of your word. I rejoice at your word as one who finds a great treasure.

Forever, oh Lord, your word is settled in heaven. Your faithfulness endures for generations.

I would have perished had it not been for your word. Through your word, you have given me life. I am yours, Father. You have saved me. My hope is in your word, and I am revived according to your word; born again by your incorruptible seed.

I Am Yours

1 Corinthians 6; 2 Timothy 2; 1 John 1; 1 Corinthians 6; John 17

Lord God, I once lived in great unrighteousness. I was selfish. I broke vows, and was led by my fleshly lust. By your grace and election, even while I wallowed in bondage to sin, you opened my eyes and showed me my mess, and you granted me repentance.

I saw my sins, and I confessed my sins. I came back in humility to you, Lord Jesus. Our father was faithful and just, and he forgave me my sins, and he cleansed me from all unrighteousness.

Through your courage and atoning sacrifice, Lord Jesus, I was washed, and I was sanctified. I was justified in your name, Lord Jesus, and converted by your Holy Spirit, Heavenly Father.

You, Lord Jesus, have shown God, the Father, to me. You were given to me from Almighty God. You have given me the very word of God, and I have received it and come to know you, Lord Jesus, in truth.

You pray for me because God, the Father, gave me to you. I am yours.

Your Grace

John 1; Ephesians 2; John 1, 6, & 1

Lord Jesus, grace and truth have come to me through you. I have not seen the Father, but you, who are at the Father’s side, have made him known to me. You, Lord Jesus, took on flesh and dwelt among us and showed your brethren the glory of God, the glory of the only son from the Father, a glory full of grace and truth.

From your fullness, I have received grace upon grace. By your grace, I received the gift of faith. I could see that you are the true light. You, Lord, are the light of the world, and all the darkness of hell cannot overcome you.

Many people will not receive or believe you, but all, whom the Father has given you, will come to you, and you will not cast out any of them.

I have come to you, Lord, and received you as my Lord and Savior, and the Father has made me his child, a child born of the will of Almighty God, my Heavenly Father, through your grace, Lord Jesus.

In the Last Day

Revelation 22; Psalm 119; Revelation 22; John 6; Romans 8 & 9; John 6

Lord Jesus, I come to you. I thirst for you and your life of peace and joy. I take freely of your water of life. I keep my eyes on your word, and I am blessed. Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light for my path.

You are coming quickly, and your reward is with you to give to everyone who is yours. You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Through your life and resurrection, I have the right to the tree of life, and I can enter into your holy city. You and the Father have your thrones there. You are the light there, and you will reign there forever and ever.

By your grace and your call on me, I have come to you, Lord Jesus. I see you in your word, and I know your presence now in my heart. Your spirit testifies to my spirit, and you commune with me day and night.

I can say with my mouth that you, Lord Jesus, are my Lord, and I believe in my heart that God, our father, raised you from the dead. I am saved. I have everlasting life, and you, Lord, will raise me up in the last day.

Alive Together with Christ

Ephesians 2; Matthew 13; Ephesians 1; John 6; 1 Peter 1

Thank you, Father, for the gift of your grace and the gift of faith. You gave me a measure of faith so I could believe.

You, Father, who are rich in mercy, because of your great love for me, even when I was dead in trespasses, you made me alive together with Christ. You saved me, by your grace, and raised me up and made me to sit together in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

You placed your seed in me before the foundation of the world and so granted that I would come to Christ when quickened by your Holy Spirit.

Lord Jesus, the living Father sent you, and you live because of the Father, so I, who feed on you, live because you are divine eternal life. I feed on your word, and I am justified by your perfect life. I receive your blood as propitiation for my sins. I abide in you, and you abide in me.

Your words are spirit and life to me. You, Lord Jesus, are the word of eternal life. Your words quicken my spirit and save my soul. By your word, I have been born again.

No More Curse

Revelation 21 & 22

Father, at the time appointed by you, you will send a new heaven and a new earth. A New Jerusalem will come down from heaven from you, Father, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Then your tabernacle will be in the New Jerusalem. You will dwell with me and all those, and only those, whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life. We will be your people. You yourself, Father, will be with us, and you will be our God.

You will wipe away every tear from our eyes. There shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There will be no more pain, for the former things will have passed away.

There will be no temple there, Father, because you and the Lord Jesus, the Lamb, will be the temple. There will be no night there, because the Lamb is the light, and all of us, who are yours, will walk in Christ Jesus, who is the light.

A pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, will proceed from your throne, Father, and from your throne, Lord Jesus. The tree of life will be in the middle of the street and along the river. The tree of life will bear fruit every month, and its leaves will heal, and there will be no more curse.
