With Joy

Galatians 6; Ephesians 2; 1 Corinthians 6

I am not deceived, Father. I know that you are not mocked. Whatever I sow is what I reap. When I sowed to the flesh, I reaped corruption. Now I sow to the spirit, and I harvest eternal life.

I enjoy living in your good presence, Holy Spirit. I am energized by your communion and your living word. With my eyes on you, I do not lose heart.

I was lost, but now, by grace through faith, I am saved from sin. I have been washed. I am sanctified and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus by your indwelling, sovereign presence, Holy Spirit.

Now, my body is a member of Christ. I am joined to you, Lord Jesus, and one spirit with you. My body is your temple, Holy Spirit. You dwell in me as a gift from God, my father.

I am not my own, for I have been bought at a price. Therefore, with joy, I glorify you, Father, in my body, and in my spirit, which are both yours.

All and All

1 Corinthians 6&3

Hallelujah, I am not my own for you, Lord, have bought me at a price. I belong to you, Lord Jesus. I glorify you in my body and in my spirit because I belong to God.

I have had many people minister into my life. Some have planted and some have watered, but it is always you, Father, who gives the life and the increase.

Now I move along, led by your spirit, in the ministry that you have given me with other fellow workers. Guide us and guard us that we will always be accurate in your spirit, Father, and never carnal.

See that in all I do I am led by your spirit; that it is you doing it through me and not me in my flesh. See that I build on your foundation with gold, silver, and priceless truth so that the work you use me for will endure

By your grace and your mysterious plan, I am your temple, Father, and your Holy Spirit dwells in me. Where you are is glory and glorious.

In knowledge and communion with you, all things present and all things to come are mine, because I am Christ’s, and Christ is yours, Father.

Not In Vain

Ephesians 3; Philippians 2

Thank you, Father, that you, according to the riches of your glory, grant me to be strengthened with might, through your spirit, in my inner man; that Christ dwells in my heart through faith; that I, being rooted and grounded in your love, can comprehend with all the Saints, the width and length and depth and height; that I know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, and I am filled with all your fullness, Father.

You are pleased and able to do all this in me exceedingly, abundantly beyond all I could ask or think, according to your power and person, who works in me, both to will and to do your good pleasure.

I do all things without complaining and disputing. By your grace and transforming work, I am blameless and harmless, a child of yours, without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom your light shines in me and your word lives in me and gives eternal life to me. I rejoice in you, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost for now I know, through you, I have not run my race in vain.

Sure Hope

Luke 11; 1 Corinthians 2;Colossians 3; 1 Corinthians 1&2, Colossians 1; 1 Corinthians 2

Thank you, Father, for the gift of your Holy Spirit. I receive, with joy, the spirit who is from you. Through him, I know the things that have been freely given to me by you, Father.

Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has entered the heart of man, the things which you, Father, have prepared for those who love you. You reveal them to me through your spirit.

Yes, you, Holy Spirit, search all things, yea, the deep things of God. All the sovereign, supernatural, eternal things of God are known to you, Holy Spirit, and you commune with me and lead me. You teach me, and enable me to compare spiritual things with spiritual. Through your presence with me, I know Jesus, the Christ, and him crucified.

Jesus is all and in all. He is wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption for me. In Christ, I know the glorious mystery of the Father, which is Christ dwelling in me. That is my hope of glory. By your grace and plan, Father, I have the mind of Christ in every situation.

True Wisdom

1 Corinthians 1; John 3:14

The message of the cross is the very power of God to those who believe. To those who are perishing the cross seems a foolishness. They fancy themselves as wise and are great disputers with your gospel, Father, but you make foolish the “wisdom” of this world.

In their “wisdom”, many people choose not to know you, and in fact, to deny you. So it pleased you, Father, to save those who believe through the “foolishness” of the message of your gospel.

Some people demand a sign, and others rely on their human understanding, but you, Father, give the world, Christ crucified, a stumbling block to those who want a sign and a foolishness to those who claim to be wise.

Yet those who claim to be wise are easily deceived. They begin to believe and espouse obvious foolishness. They are perverted in their morality and economics and courage. The weak things of the world put them to shame.

Christ Jesus is your wisdom, Father. Those who believe Christ’s glory live in glory. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. All, who come to Jesus, belong to you, Father, and live in true wisdom.

All of My Salvation

Romans 16; 1 Corinthians 1

Thank you, Father, that you have established me in Christ through faith in your gospel and by sound preaching. Now the presence and person of your Holy Spirit is manifest in me. I am led by your spirit. Every day and all day, I commune with you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

In Christ, I am sanctified and called to be a saint. I thank you, Father, for your sovereign grace, which is given to me by Christ Jesus. By his favor, I am enriched in everything, in all utterance and knowledge.

Your indwelling presence, Lord Jesus, confirms himself every day, and I am filled with the gift of your spirit. I eagerly enjoy your peaceful and powerful presence, as you reveal yourself to me in all the occasions of daily life.

You never leave me, Lord Jesus, rather you confirm my new life in you to the end, so that I will stand blameless before our father on your day. God, our father, who called me to fellowship with you, Lord Jesus, is faithful to see to all my salvation.

In Me and Over Me

Romans 16; 1 Corinthians 1; Romans 16; Colossians 3

Thank you, Lord Jesus, that your grace is with me. I am in Christ Jesus, and you, Lord Jesus, have become wisdom, righteousness, redemption, and sanctification for me. Your presence in me and your Lordship over me is glorious.

In you, Lord, I am wise to what is good and simple concerning evil. You, the God of Peace, crush the enemy under my feet. You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, rebuke the demons out of the territory of the ministry you have ordained for me.

You have established me according to your gospel. I understand your mystery kept secret since the beginning, but now made manifest by your scripture and taught by your Holy Spirit.

I obey you in faith, Father, for you alone are wisdom. You, through Christ, are all and in all.

Live the Light

Romans 15

Thank you, Father, for your love for me, your choice of me, and your filling of me with your Holy Spirit. I have been born again, born from above.

You, the God of patience and comfort, see that I am like-minded toward others in accord with the words of Christ Jesus that we all, with one mind and one mouth, would glorify you, our God and the father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the root of Jesse. He has risen to reign over the Gentiles. In Christ, the Gentiles have hope, and now, you, Father, the God of Hope, fill me with all joy and peace and believing so that I abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

I am confident, Holy Spirit, that by your person and communion, I am full of goodness, filled with all knowledge so as to minister the gospel of God to all whom you have put me before to preach and teach and live the light of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Wherever I Go

Joshua 1

Hallelujah, and good morning, Lord. By your grace, and led by you, Holy Spirit, I will arise each day and go on into the land and the ministry of your gospel that you have given me. You have given me the “territory” of your choice, and nothing, and no one can stand against that all the days of my life.

You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, are with me. You will not leave me or forsake me. By your presence, I am strong and courageous. I will help the people you give to me enter into your inheritance.

In Christ, I am strong and courageous. I observe to do all according to your holy word. I do not turn from your word to the right hand or the left, and I prosper wherever I go.

Your written word is in my mouth, and I meditate on it day and night. I observed to do all that you have written, Father, and you make my way prosperous, and I have good success as your servant.

Therefore, I am strong and of good courage. I am not afraid or dismayed, for you, my Lord, my God, my savior, and my righteousness are with me wherever I go.

Glad Tidings

Romans 10

By your gift of faith, Father, I know I do not have to go looking for Christ Jesus. I do not wonder if he will come down from heaven or if he will come up from the dead. I do not have to go to some special man, or place, or church to find my Lord Jesus.

I know Christ is in me and near me. He dwells in me forever through his word, and in the person of the Holy Spirit. I have been born from above, and my words are now the very words of God, and in my heart, I know that you, Father, raised Christ from the dead.

With my heart, I believe, and with my mouth, I agree and receive and apply salvation. For whoever believes will not be put to shame.

My background, my gender, my past sins, do not matter, thank God, because you, Father, have chosen to be rich to all who call on you.

By grace through your gift of faith, you chose me. You put me in the path of good preachers. They spoke the gospel to me. I heard the glad tidings, and I believed unto salvation, light, and eternal light.
