Wherever I Go

Joshua 1

Hallelujah, and good morning, Lord. By your grace, and led by you, Holy Spirit, I will arise each day and go on into the land and the ministry of your gospel that you have given me. You have given me the “territory” of your choice, and nothing, and no one can stand against that all the days of my life.

You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, are with me. You will not leave me or forsake me. By your presence, I am strong and courageous. I will help the people you give to me enter into your inheritance.

In Christ, I am strong and courageous. I observe to do all according to your holy word. I do not turn from your word to the right hand or the left, and I prosper wherever I go.

Your written word is in my mouth, and I meditate on it day and night. I observed to do all that you have written, Father, and you make my way prosperous, and I have good success as your servant.

Therefore, I am strong and of good courage. I am not afraid or dismayed, for you, my Lord, my God, my savior, and my righteousness are with me wherever I go.

Glad Tidings

Romans 10

By your gift of faith, Father, I know I do not have to go looking for Christ Jesus. I do not wonder if he will come down from heaven or if he will come up from the dead. I do not have to go to some special man, or place, or church to find my Lord Jesus.

I know Christ is in me and near me. He dwells in me forever through his word, and in the person of the Holy Spirit. I have been born from above, and my words are now the very words of God, and in my heart, I know that you, Father, raised Christ from the dead.

With my heart, I believe, and with my mouth, I agree and receive and apply salvation. For whoever believes will not be put to shame.

My background, my gender, my past sins, do not matter, thank God, because you, Father, have chosen to be rich to all who call on you.

By grace through your gift of faith, you chose me. You put me in the path of good preachers. They spoke the gospel to me. I heard the glad tidings, and I believed unto salvation, light, and eternal light.

Nothing

Romans 8; 2 Peter 1; Colossians 2; Romans 8

Thank you, Father, that you are for me, therefore nothing can succeed against me unless you allow it. You, who did not even spare your own son, but delivered him up for me, that through Christ Jesus, I would have all things pertaining to life and godliness. I am complete in Christ.

In the past, I was guilty, but you, Father, have justified me. Now there is no condemnation for me because Christ has paid for my sins with his life, and now he is risen. He is now at your right hand, Father, making intercession for me.

I am loved by you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and nothing can separate me from your love, not tribulation or distress, not famine or the sword. In this life, these are tribulations, but in Christ, I am more than a conqueror in all the issues of life in this flesh.

Nothing, in any and all of creation, can separate me from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus, my Lord.

Predestined, Called, Justified, and Glorified

Colossians 1; Romans 8

Holy Spirit, by God’s gift, you dwell in me, and where you are is glory. In person, you commune with me. You bear witness to my spirit that I belong to God. We are glorified together.

All the suffering of this present time, the wrestling with my flesh and the foolishness of the world, is not worthy to be compared to the glory, and hope that are revealed to me by your words and your person, Holy Spirit.

Father, all your children and all of your creation eagerly wait for the revealing of your sons. I have the first fruits of the spirit, and yet, I still groan, eagerly awaiting adoption and the redemption of my body.

Meanwhile, Holy Spirit, you help me in my weakness. You perfect my prayers by making intercession for me. You search my heart that I can know the truth, and you lead me in the will of God, our father.

You make all things in my life work out, so as to conform me to the image of my Lord Jesus. By your grace, Holy Spirit, I come to understand that I am born from above. I am predestined, called, justified, and glorified by you, Holy Spirit, through faith in Christ Jesus.

Since His Child

1 Corinthians 6; Romans 8

I belong to you, Lord Jesus, and I am no longer my own. I have been bought with your precious price. I belong to you.

Now, by the grace of God, Christ Jesus, you dwell in me. My body is dead because of sin, but I am alive forever in the Spirit of God because of God’s righteousness. The very spirit who raised Christ from the dead dwells in me.

You, Holy Spirit, who raised Christ Jesus, now also give life to my mortal body. Therefore, I want to live according to the Spirit. By the spirit, I put to death, the deeds of the body, and I live.

You, Holy Spirit, witness your presence and power to me all day and all night. I commune with you, and you encourage, convict, and teach me. By your presence and person, I know I am God‘s child, and since his child, his heir and joint heir with Christ.

I am God’s son now, and I am led by the Spirit of God.

Newness

Romans 8&7

Holy Spirit, you dwell in me. I know this because you witness your presence in me to my spirit throughout the day and night. So my flesh is still active, but I actually live in the eternal, perfect, Spirit of God.

I serve God, the Father, in the newness of the spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. My Lord Jesus has delivered me from this body of death, and so I serve the law of God with my mind.

Therefore, I am spiritually minded, and I live in life and peace. There is no condemnation for me because I am in Christ Jesus. So, I do not walk according to the flesh, but I walk according to the Spirit of Almighty God.

Therefore, the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death.

My End

Romans 6

Lord Jesus, I know that you, having been raised from the dead, die no more. Death no longer has dominion over you. The death you died, you died to sin once for all; but the life you now live, you live to God, our father. Likewise, I also reckon myself to be dead indeed, to sin, but alive to God and to you, Lord Jesus.

Sin no longer reigns in my mortal body. I do not obey it in its lusts. Now I am alive in you, Lord Jesus, and by your grace and person, I present my members as instruments of righteousness to God.

Now, I obey your gospel, which has been delivered to me, and I am set free from sin. I have become a slave of righteousness. I am a slave of God.

Lord Jesus, the fruit of your life in me is holiness, and my end is everlasting life.

No Longer

Romans 5&6

Sin certainly seems to abound all around me. The “wise” are calling it love and freedom and choice, but if your word, oh Lord, is the standard, then it is sin. I am still filled with hope because I know that where sin abounds, grace abounds much more.

By your grace and communion, Lord, I have died to sin, and I no longer live in it. When I was baptized into Christ Jesus, I was baptized into his death.

I was buried with you, Lord Jesus, into your death, and just as you were raised from the dead, by the glory of God, our father, even so I walk in the newness of life.

I have been united together with you, Lord, in the likeness of your death. Certainly I shall also be united with you in the likeness of your resurrection.

The Rest of My Time

1 Peter 3&4

Hallelujah, Father. Your eyes are upon me, and your ears are open to my prayers. I love the life you have given me, and I rejoice in the good of each day that you give me. Today I seek your peace and presence. I pursue perfect communion with you.

I sanctify the Lord Jesus in my heart. I meditate on the reasons for the living hope that I have in you, Lord Jesus.

You, Lord, suffered for my sins when I was unjust so that you could bring me to God. I, in you, was put to death in the flesh and made alive by you, Holy Spirit.

Now, by your grace and your dwelling person, I have died to the flesh and ceased from sin. I no longer live the rest of my time in the lusts of men. Instead, I live all my time in the will of God, my father. I live according to God by the Holy Spirit.

Stand In The Grace

Romans 4&5; Colossians 1; Romans 5

Lord Jesus, I know that you were delivered up for my offenses, and you were raised for my justification. Therefore, having been justified by your life and obedience, Lord Jesus, I have peace with God, our father.

Now, by faith, I stand, day by day, moment by moment, in the grace of my Almighty, sovereign, God of heaven and earth. I rejoice in the hope of the glory of Christ now dwelling in me, by the Holy Spirit.

With faith, and hope, I look for your person and communion, Lord Jesus, in all the tribulation of this life, because I know that with you as my Lord, tribulation produces perseverance, and perseverance, character, and character, hope.

This hope grows and shines within me because the love of God is poured out in my heart by the Holy Spirit, who has filled and birthed me again from above.
