Just Due

Revelation 15 & 16

Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God Almighty!

Just and true are your ways, oh King of the Saints

Who shall not fear you, oh, Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations shall come and worship before you, for your judgments have been manifested.

You are righteous, oh, Lord, the one who is, and who was, and who is to be.

You have judged those who have the mark of the beast, and those who worshiped his image. They have shared the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.

Eternal Glory

1 John 5; Romans 8; Ephesians 1; 1 John 5; 1 Corinthians 1; 1 Peter 4

The truth is that you, Father, have given me, eternal life, and this life is in your son. I have the son as my Lord and Savior, and thus I have eternal life

I know this is true, because your word tells me, and because your indwelling spirit witnesses to me and remains with me, as a deposit, guaranteeing all these promises until the day that you, Father, redeem your possession. So I know!

I know that you hear me as I ask to walk and live and serve in your will, and I know that I have those petitions that I have made to you.

I am a useful instrument in your hands and capable and godly, because you have made Christ Jesus to be righteousness, wisdom, redemption, and sanctification for me.

You, Father, the God of all grace, have called me to your eternal glory, through Christ Jesus, and you, Almighty Sovereign God, see that I am perfected, established, strengthened, and settled.

Multiplied to Me

2 Peter 1

Thank you, Father, that I have a like precious faith with your apostles, by the righteousness of my God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Grace and knowledge are multiplied to me through the knowledge of you, Father, and my Lord Jesus Christ.

In your divine power, you have given me all things that pertain to life and godliness by giving me personal knowledge of you and communion with you.

You have called me to glory and virtue and given me exceedingly great and precious promises. Through your promises, from your living word and your indwelling Holy Spirit, I am a partaker of your divine nature, and I have escaped the corruption that is in this world through lust.

I am fruitful in my knowledge and intimacy with my Lord Jesus. Your call and election on my life are sure. By your grace, I have abundant entrance into your everlasting kingdom.

With You

Psalms 33 & 34

My soul waits on you, Lord. I sit with you and commune with you. I am joined with you, and by your spirit, I am one with you. You are my help, my savior, and my shield. My heart rejoices in you, Lord. I have full trust in you. Your mercy is upon me, and I am filled with a living hope.

Your angel encamps around me and guards and delivers me.

I bless you, Lord, all the time, and praise for you is continually on my lips. My whole soul boasts in you. You are Almighty, sovereign, and gracious beyond description. I exalt you.

I saw you, and you drew me to you. You saved me and delivered me from all my fears. Now you fill me and shine radiantly out of me.

You are good, Lord. I trust in you, and I am blessed. By your grace and provision, I lack no good thing.

Inexpressible and Full

1 Peter 1

By your grace and gift, Father, I have faith. I find that Jesus Christ has been revealed to me. I love him and hear him even though I have not seen him yet. But I believe, and so I rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, and I receive the end of my faith, the salvation of my soul.

I tighten up my thinking. I am sober. I rest my hope fully upon your grace, Father. Your grace has become obvious, plentiful, and real to me through the revelation of Jesus as your Messiah, and as my Lord and Savior.

My soul has been purified through belief in your gospel. I have been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through your word, Father. Your word now lives in me. Your word endures forever, and I abide in your word.

Back From Bondage

1 Peter 5; 1 Corinthians 6; Colossians 1; Galatians 5; 1 Peter 4; Ephesians 4; 1 Peter 3

Father, today I sanctify the Lord Jesus in my heart. I rejoice for the hope that is in me.

I belong to the Lord Jesus. He has bought me back from bondage with a precious price. Now he dwells in me forever through the Holy Spirit. I am led in every detail, decision, and thought by your very Spirit, Father.

I am always ready to share your gospel, with gentleness and respect, to anyone who asks.

I reckon myself dead to my old man and born from above with my new man. I no longer live my life in this flesh in the lust of men. I spent too much time in my past doing that. Now I live in accord with your Spirit, Father.

I am serious and watchful in my prayers. I am fervent in my love for others. I am hospitable. I do not grumble. When I speak, I hope to speak your very words, Father, so that in all aspects of my life you, Father, will be glorified.

Reserved For Me

1 Peter 1

Father, by your grace and through your inscrutable choice, I am your elect. You elected me for salvation and sanctification. I am cleansed and forgiven of my sins by the life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and I am converted to be obedient to you.

You have begotten me again to a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for me. I am kept by your power through faith.

Though I have not seen you, Lord Jesus, you have been revealed to me through your word and by the witness of your spirit who now dwells in me. Thereby, I do believe, and I rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, even though, while in this flesh, I am grieved from time to time by various trials.

These trials test the genuineness of my faith. But my faith remains, purified as if by fire and firm to the salvation of my soul.

You Will Return

James 4 & 5

Father, I draw near to you, and you draw near to me. I am cleansed and purified by you. I take your salvation very seriously. I humble myself before you, and you encourage me.

I do not presume regarding my will and ways. After all, my life, in this flesh, is fragile and temporal, like a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.

I am not in charge, Father. It is you who are God, and you who are the Lord of my life. I am not so arrogant as to think I am anything besides your bond servant, and I am thankful to be that.

I am generous and fair to those who lead me and to those who serve me. I am patient, and my heart is set on you, Lord. You fill me now, and in your timing, you will return to this earth. By your grace and communing fellowship, I persevere. You, Father, are compassionate and merciful.

Cannot Be Shaken

Hebrews 12 & 13

Thank you, Father. By your grace, I have received a kingdom that cannot be shaken by which I can serve you acceptably with reverence and Godly fear. You, Father, are a consuming fire.

I am content with such that I have for I have you, Lord Jesus, and you promise you will never leave me or forsake me. So, I know you are my helper. I do not fear. What can the world do to me.

Lord Jesus, you are faithful to me as my Lord and Savior. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. Your doctrine does not change. I am not deceived by “new” and strange doctrines.

I continue to give praise and thanks to you, Father, in the name of Jesus, and you, the God of Peace, make me complete in every good work to do your will. You work in me all that is well pleasing in your sight, through Jesus Christ. To you, Father, be glory forever and ever.

Better

Hebrews 8 & 10

Jesus, you are my Savior and my Lord. You are my high priest forever. You are seated at the right hand of the throne of God, our majestic father, in the heavens.

You minister in the sanctuary in heaven. That is the true Tabernacle that God erected and not the one erected on earth, which is a copy and a shadow of the heavenly one.

You, Lord Jesus, have a more excellent ministry, in as much as you are the mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.

In this better covenant, you have put your laws in my mind and written them on my heart. You are my God, and I am yours. You, Father, have been merciful to my unrighteousness, and my sins and lawless deeds you remember no more. Through your perfect sacrifice, Lord Jesus, I have been sanctified.
