Glad of That

1 Chronicles 29; Ephesians 2&1; 1 Corinthians 6

Bless you, Lord God, my father, forever and ever.

You and all that is yours is greatness. You are all powerful and glorious. All of heaven and earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, oh Lord, and you are exalted as head overall.

Riches and honor come from you, and you reign overall. In your hand is power and might. You make your people great, and you give strength to all of us.

Therefore, Father, I abound in thanksgiving to you. I praise your glorious name. Even my will and strength to praise you comes from you, for all things good come from you to me through your word and your Holy Spirit.

For now, by grace through faith in Christ Jesus, I have been born from above. I am saved. I am included in Christ and sealed by your Holy Spirit until your day of redemption. I belong to you, Father, and I am glad of that.

Everlasting Joy

Luke 4; Isaiah 61

Thank you, Lord Jesus, that your spirit is upon me and dwells in me. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for your living communion with me. You fill me, and you lead me.

You anoint me, and I hear your gospel, and I believe it, and I understand it. Your word has become life, eternal life, in me.

You comfort me, and you heal my broken heart. I was captive to lust and selfishness, and you have proclaimed liberty to me.

I was blind to your fullness and joy, but you opened my eyes, and now, I have my sight. I was bogged down with regret and self centered impatience, and now, you have set me free from my past and from myself.

You show me our father’s perfect timing and faithfulness, and I am content.

I rejoice in you, Lord. My soul is joyful in you, my God. You have clothed me with the garments of salvation. You have covered me with the robe of righteousness. By your grace, everlasting joy is mine. Praise you and thank you.

Use Me

Luke 1; John 1; Romans; Ephesians 2; Luke 1

Bless you, Lord God. You dwell in and among each of your people. You have redeemed us. You raised up Jesus, the man of our salvation.

He is your word, and he spoke your word. He took on flesh and dwelt among us. He lived a life without sin and became the righteousness of God for me. He offered his life upon the cross as a full sacrifice and payment for all my sins.

Now, by your grace, Father, through faith in Christ’s complete and completed work, I am saved. I am saved from the hands of your enemies, Lord, and from those who hate you and your truth.

You are merciful to me, Lord, and you keep your covenant perfectly and in love.

I am delivered from bondage to sin and death so that I can serve you without fear. Now I live in holiness and righteousness before you all the days of my life.

Now I am your child. I go with you to give the word of salvation to your people. I reflect your light to those who sit in darkness and under the shadow of death. You use me to guide them to the way of peace.

Righteousness and Holiness

Ephesians 4

Thank you, Father, for the gift of faith, and for the knowledge of the Lord Jesus. Thank you, that I know of him, but also, much better, I know him personally by his spirit who lives in me and communes with me day by day and thought by thought.

You have changed me by renewing my mind and by perfecting me in accord with the character of my Lord Jesus. I am no longer a child cared about by every wind of doctrine, nor am I tossed about by the foolishness and trickery of men.

Instead, I live with you, Lord, in truth. I grow up in you, and I am knit together in your body, the church.

I ceaselessly put off my old man, and I am renewed moment by moment in the spirit of my mind. I put on the new man who is created in accord with your will. I live in true righteousness and holiness.

True and Righteous

Psalm 19

Heavenly Father, the heavens declare your glory. The earth shows your handiwork. Each day and night utter your words.

Your law, oh Lord, is perfect. It has converted my soul. Your testimony is sure and has made me wise. Your statutes are right and give me joy. Your commandments are pure and enlighten me.

The fear I have for you, Father, is clean and eternal. Your judgments are true and righteous all together. Your grace has warned me and taught me. Obeying you, Father, is great reward

You cleanse me of my faults. Your indwelling Holy Spirit keeps me from presumptuous sins. Foolishness does not have dominion over me. In Christ, I am blameless and innocent of transgressions.

The words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart are acceptable in your sight, Father. You are my strength and my redeemer.

Glory For Ever & Ever

Hebrews 13; 1 Corinthians 6; Romans 10

Heavenly Father, you are the God of Peace. You brought up my Lord Jesus from the dead, and now he is my great Shepherd, and I am kept and guarded by him.

Jesus is my Lord. He has bought me with a precious price, and I belong to him. I am no longer my own, but now, hallelujah, I belong to you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

You have made an everlasting promise to save me and to hold me forever, and you sealed that promise with your blood.

Now, Lord, work in me to make me complete in every good work to do your will. Work in me what is well pleasing in your sight. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, who is glory forever and ever.

Back To You

Psalm 119

My heart stands in awe of your word, Father. I rejoice at your word. I love your law, and I am filled with great peace, and nothing causes me to stumble.

I live in hope because of your salvation, Father. My soul keeps your testimonies. I love them exceedingly. I keep your precepts, and all my ways are open before you.

Your word gives me understanding, and I am delivered according to your word. You, Holy Spirit, teach me the word, and my soul lives because of your life dwelling in me.

I live, and I praise you. I delight in your law. Long ago, I had wandered off, but now, Father, your word and your spirit have brought me back to you.

The Kingdom of the Son

Matthew 6; Colossians 1

Thank you, Father, that I am on your mind and heart. You have me covered. You know the things I have need of even before I ask you. Therefore, I do not worry about my life. I am in your kingdom, Lord. You are the power and the glory.

I have been born from above, and you, Father, are my God, and Jesus is my master. Now my life belongs to you, and my life is more than food and clothing.

My treasure is in heaven with you, Father. I am filled with the knowledge of your will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Thereby, I am enabled to walk worthy of you, Lord Jesus, fully pleasing to you and fruitful in every good work and increasing in my knowledge of you, Father.

I am strengthened with your might, Father, in accord with your glorious power, for all patience and long suffering with joy. I give thanks to you, Father, that you have qualified me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the Saints in light. You have delivered me from the power of darkness and conveyed me into the kingdom of the son of your love.

Bear Me Up

Psalm 91

Lord God, in your mercy, you called me, and I answered. Now you are always with me. You deliver me, and you honor me. You satisfy me, Father, and you show me your salvation.

I dwell now with you, Lord Jesus. I abide in your shadow. You are my refuge and my fortress. You are my God, and I trust you.

You deliver me from tricks and lies and pestilence. You cover me with your Holy Spirit and refresh me with your word of life. I live in truth, because you have hold of me, Lord.

I am not afraid of the terror, lies, foolishness, and pestilence that goes on around me in this sinful world.

The lost are busy in sin and rebellion. They live the way of death, but their ways do not come to me, because now, I dwell in you, Lord Jesus.

You, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are my dwelling place and my refuge. No evil can steal my salvation. No plague can come near my heavenly presence and promise. Your angels have charge over me, Father, they keep me and carry me through this life and bear me up to you at your appointed time.

Fierceness and Wrath

Revelation 19

Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to you, Lord, my God. Your judgments are true and righteous. You will judge the evil who corrupt your earth. You will revenge on evil the blood of your servants who were slain. I praise you, Lord, and I fear you.

You, Lord God Omnipotent, reign. I am glad, and I rejoice. I give you glory that salvation has come, and at your time appointed, I will be united face-to-face with Christ Jesus, your lamb and my savior.

Someday heaven will open, and Jesus, faithful and true, will come seated on a white horse. He will judge, and he will make war. He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and he is the word of God. Out of his mouth, goes a sharp sword that will judge and strike the nations. He himself will tread the winepress of your fierceness and wrath, Heavenly Father.

I worship you, Father. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
