Dwells In Me

Col. 1 & 3

I thank you, father, that Jesus the Christ dwells in me; that I have been raised with Christ and I seek those things above where Jesus is seated at the right hand of God.  I set my mind on things above and not on the things of this earth for I am dead and my life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is my life, appears I will appear with him in glory.

I once walked in the flesh, but now I have put off the old self, and by god’s grace, I have put on the new self, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.  Christ is all and in all. Today, I put on, as God’s chosen one, holy and beloved, a compassionate heart, kindness, humility, meekness and patience, forgiving others as I have been forgiven.  The peace of Christ rules in my heart. I am thankful!

Stand Fast

Phil 4; I Peter 5; I Cor. 6

Today I standfast in the Lord! I rejoice in the Lord, always, and again I say, I rejoice. My moderation is known unto all. The Lord is at hand.  I am anxious of nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving I make my requests known to God and the peace of God, which passes all understanding, keeps (mounts guard over) my heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

I humble myself under the mighty hand of God and I cast all my care upon him for he cares for me. I am sober and vigilant because I know there is an enemy roaming about seeking to devour me. I resist the enemy steadfastly and my God restores me, confirms me, strengthens and establishes me. I know that my body is the temple of the Holy Ghost given to me by God, the father. I am not my own; I have been bought with a price; I belong to God.

Meek and Wise

Lord, fill me with meekness and wisdom. Cleanse my heart that no bitter jealousy or selfish ambition can be a part of me.  I ask for your wisdom, and I know you are faithful to give me wisdom and to not upbraid me. Your wisdom comes from above and is not earthy or unscriptural.  Your wisdom is pure and peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.

As I minister your wisdom in peace a harvest of righteousness is sown. I submit myself to you, Lord. I humble myself before you and leave it to you to exalt or vindicate me. I offer my tongue to you, Lord. Take full charge of it, Lord, that only your words would come out of my mouth; only blessing to you, Lord Jesus, to you, father, and to your people; only words that minister grace.

Bread From Heaven

Neh. 9

Lord, I separate myself from the world. I keep my eyes and my love on the Lord Jesus! I stand and confess my sins, and I read from your word. Blessed be your glorious name which is exalted above all blessing and praise. You are the Lord; you alone.

You hear my cries and you have done wonders in my life. You speak to me through your creation, and you speak to me with your word!  Your statutes and words are right and true. You give me bread from heaven for my hunger and water from the rock for my thirst.  You are God; you are ready to forgive; gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love.  You gave me your good spirit to instruct me and do not withhold your manna from my mouth. You sustain me in this wilderness and I lack nothing.

Sow Good Seed

Galatians 6; Eph 1

By god’s grace, today I sow to the spirit. I am determined that the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in your sight, oh Lord, my strength and my redeemer.

Today, I subject each of my thoughts and beliefs to the light of your word, Lord Jesus, and I take any thoughts that disagree with the knowledge of you as my Lord and Savior captive and I reshape them to agree with you and your truth.  For you are truth and your truth sets me free and keeps me free!

Keep me strong, oh Lord, that I would not grow weary of following you, for in due season I will reap, if I do not give up.  Thank you, father, that in Christ I have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of my trespasses, according to the riches of the grace of God which you lavish up on me in all wisdom and insight as you make known to me the mystery of your will.  In you I have heard and believed and been sealed.

Oil in my Lamp

Thank you, father, that I am always with you and that all that you have is mine. I was lost, but now, by your grace, I am found. I am not anxious about my life. My Lord feeds me. Instead, I seek after the kingdom of God and his righteousness and everything pertaining to life and godliness is added to me

I do not fear because it is my father’s good pleasure to give me the kingdom. My treasure is with the Lord and in the Lord. By god’s grace, and by his word and his spirit alive in me, I am dressed and ready for action and my lamp is burning. My mind is renewed.  I am led by his spirit and I do not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Today, I am drawn along in my God’s good and pleasing and perfect will. I know and see and enjoy the thoughts, intents, and purposes of God’s heart.

Salt and Light

By god’s grace and transforming presence, I am the salt of the earth. I am a product of God’s supernatural and sovereign plan and power. Similarly, I am the light of the world because the light of God, the Lord Jesus, dwells in me!  I have received Christ as my Lord, and in Christ I am the righteousness of God.

I realize the father knows the things I need. Therefore, I can seek first the kingdom of God and the righteousness that is of God, and all the other things are added to me. Therefore, I am not anxious about tomorrow. I ask, seek and knock that God will fill me and take charge of me in every way. He gives me good things; it is his good pleasure to give me the kingdom.

The kingdom of God is God in me. As I come to have full faith in that I am set free from the cares of the world, the flesh and the devil. I am in the world, but not of it . Free, free indeed.  Faith, the victory that overcomes the world.

Truth

Thank you, Lord, for the word of the father that you have given, and that I have received and thereby have come to know you and to know the truth of God!  I believe, Jesus, that you are the Messiah, the one sent by the father, the one anointed by God to bring salvation from sin and reconciliation to God, the father, to me.

You have given me your word. I am born again. I am not of this world just as you, Lord Jesus, are not of this world. Keep me from the evil one; sanctify me with your truth, your word is truth.  I thank you, father, that we are one; just as you, father, are one in Jesus and Jesus is in you; you are in me and I am in you.  I am perfectly one with you and you love me, father, as you love Christ. I thank you, Lord, that I will be with you where you are and that I will see your glory.

Present Presence

All that I have seen causes me to trust the creator for all that I have not seen. I want to see each present moment as clearly as possible and enjoy the presence of God in it, and realize his steadfast love for me throughout all time!

When all is said and done what counts is your faith in Jesus as the Christ, the hope of heaven, and your realization that the father loves you.  His love is perfect, supernatural, unconditional and sovreign. Nothing can separate you from the love of God and nothing can pluck you from your father’s hand.

This is the will of God, the father, who loves us: that we should see the son and believe he is the Christ; that we believe and put our faith in Jesus as the Messiah, the Savior, the anointed one of God, the bread of life sent down from heaven to give life.

In Heaven

Musings:   It does not matter what others think or how they philosophize or excuse. I rejoice and I’m glad because, “Great is my reward in heaven. ”

I do not rejoice over ministry success or because even the spirits are subject to me in Christ, rather, I rejoice because my name is written in the lamb’s book of life. I rejoice because my name is written in heaven.

The sure anchor for my joy is that Jesus promises me great reward in heaven; “where moth can’t destroy nor thieves break in and steal.” My joy is safe and founded on god’s heaven. Thus he has freed me from the tyranny of worldly intrigue,  be it pain or pleasure; reviling or failure! In Christ all the answers are “yes and yes”!!
