Fruit

Praise you, father. Thank you for the gift of your Holy Spirit; for him as my means of communion. Today I reckon I am dead indeed to sin and alive unto you, father, through Jesus Christ, my Lord.  Sin no longer reigns in my mortal body, for I am dead to my flesh and alive in the spirit of God. God the Spirit leads me.  Through the spirit I know the love of God. I see the divine benefits that are mine.

It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me, and this life I live today I live with the faith of the Lord Jesus who loves me and gave himself for me.  By god’s grace and your presence in me, Holy Spirit, I am dead to the law of sin and death and alive in the fullness of God. I am raised from the dead and able to bring forth fruit. The fruit of the Spirit of God.

Light and Life

Lord Jesus,  I believe you! You are the son of God. I have seen you move in the events of my life; I have fellowshipped with your Holy Spirit. I don’t know everything, but I do know you.  Today I bow before you. I am yours, oh lord. Fill me and take charge of me today that my every thought would agree with you and that every word I utter would be your word.

Thank you, Lord, for your correction and your encouragement. You deal bountifully with me. I know it and I appreciate it. Today is the day you have made. I am glad and I rejoice in that.  Another day in your kingdom! The kingdom of light in the midst of much darkness and deception.

Sovereign, Alive and Active

Lord, today I keep my eyes on you and on your promises. You are God of heaven above and earth below and there is no other! I acknowledge that and take heart in it. I cast my life upon you. I have a life because,in your love and by your grace, you have given me a real life.  I cast my family on you; knowing that you care for us and have included us in Christ since before the foundation of the world.

In all the issues of life ahead of us Jesus is Lord and God the father is sovereign and alive and active. I count it all joy when I deal with diverse temptations for I know that the trying of my faith works patience and patience will have her perfect work.  In all of that, I will be perfect and entire, wanting in nothing. Fill me with your wisdom for the day, father.

All The Fullness

Rev. 3; Eph. 3; John 14; Romans 8

Lord Jesus, I love you and belong to you. I listen to your reproof and I welcome your discipline. I am zealous to be yours, and quick to repent. My heart is open to you. I keep my eyes on you and your word, and you and the father love me and come and make your abode with me.  In you, Lord Jesus, I am more than a conqueror for you conquered and you invite me to sit with you on your throne.

You, Lord Jesus, are my riches. Your righteousness is my new garment, and by your grace I can see spiritual things!  I am strengthened with power through your Spirit in my inner being so that you, Lord Jesus, dwell in my heart through faith. I am rooted and grounded in love. I am filled with all the fullness of God!

Completely

I Cor. 1; I Thes. 5; Jude

You are faithful, heavenly father, and you have called me into the fellowship of your son, Jesus, the Christ, my Lord. You sustain me to the end guiltless before you in Christ.

You, heavenly father, the God of peace, sanctify me completely and keep my whole spirit and soul and body blameless at the coming of my Lord Jesus, the Christ. You are faithful and you do surely do it!  Your grace, father, is with me. I am yours, oh Lord. I have heard your call. I am beloved by you, my heavenly father, and kept for Jesus Christ.  Mercy, peace, and love are multiplied to me!

Wax Strong

Lord, I pray today that I would wax strong in your spirit. Fill me, Holy Spirit and take charge of my every move, my every thought, and my every word. Fill me today with the wisdom of God; with divine wisdom, and prudence to live in that wisdom. So that today I will know everything I need to know, and have the courage and strength and mercy and kindness to do exactly what I know to do.

Father, thank you for your grace. I stand in your grace; past, present and future grace. I know you have it all covered. I acknowledge that you are the lord of my life and the Lord of the enterprises I am involved in. I look forward in faith and awestruck joy to how you will complete each chapter and episode of this lifelong adventure.

No Other

Blessed be the Lord God, for he dwells with me, and he has redeemed me. He has given me salvation through Jesus, my Lord, and raised me up with Christ Jesus.  My God has had mercy on me and loves me with a steadfast love; a love that is eternal and spawned by divine grace! I serve my Lord in perfect love without fear.  I serve him in holiness and righteousness because God, the spirit, fills me and leads me. God’s Spirit is perfect, entire and holy. Jesus has become my righteousness!

God has given the light to me when once I sat in darkness. He has let me see and touch and taste his salvation, and I know that it is good.  God is good in every way; greater than any and all things the world offers. My soul is saved by the Lord and my soul is set on the Lord. He is the Lord of my life and there is no other!

Split

Jesus splits humanity according to what we love. “The light has come into the world, and people love darkness rather than light”. The righteous and the wicked are separated by what they delight in, that is: the revelation of God or the way of the world.

“Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.” Ps119:18

Your word is alive, oh Lord! Your word dwells in me today and fills me and converts me and leads me in paths of righteousness. I continue in your word.

Sweeter Than Honey

Lord, your words are sweet to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth. I love you, Lord, because you first love me; because you chose me; because you brought me to life when I was dead.  You stopped my decent into nothingness and muck. You lifted me up and placed me on solid ground; gave me hope and joy and peace. You have become my resting place, now and forever.

I delight in your presence in me. I sit at your feet and listen to your word. I enjoy your voice with me saying, “this is the way walk in it.”  I love your counsel to me now in this flesh and look forward to when you take me home.  I have seen you in the hundreds of “coincidences” in my life. You have brought me good; you were present in me and you are good. I have tasted your life and dwell in your light, and I know they are good, and I love that place and stand in your grace forever.

Yielded

Deut. 4:39 & Ps 23 & Matt. 11

Good morning, father, son and Holy Spirit. Today I yield to you as Almighty God and the Lord of my life. I acknowledge and take heart that you are God in heaven above and in earth below; you are God and there is no other. I rest in you today.  I come to you; I am joined to the Lord Jesus, and I am meek and lowly in Christ. I find rest for my soul.

Jesus, you are my shepherd and I want for nothing. You lead me; you place me;  you restore and guard me.  You see that I am fed and covered. I have no fear because you perfectly comfort me. I dwell with you and the father forever. Today I rejoice in your presence and power, father.  I do not always understand your ways, but I trust your heart and prosper in your love.
