To The Uttermost

Hebrews 9,8,7,&8

Thank you, father, for your great covenant with me. You put your laws in my mind, and your word is written on my heart. You are my God, and I am yours. You are merciful to my unrighteousness, and my sins and lawless deeds you do not charge against me.

Jesus, the Christ, is my high priest. He is seated at the right hand of your throne in the heavens. He is a minister in the true tabernacle in heaven which you, Majestic Father, erected. Jesus is the mediator of a better covenant, which is established on better promises.

Jesus continues forever in an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore, he is able to save to the uttermost all who come to you, father, through him.

For Jesus is the perfect high priest for me. He is holy. He does not need to offer up sacrifices daily, for he offered up himself for my sin and for the sin of all those who are his, once for all.

The word of your covenant, father, appoints Jesus, your son and my high priest, perfected forever.

Solid Foundation

2 Timothy 2

Thank you, father, that your solid foundation stands. You, Almighty God, know those who are yours. By your grace and mercy, I am your child.

I am diligent to present myself to you as an instrument for your use; a worker who studies your gospel and rightly divides your word of truth.

I am a vessel in your house. You have cleansed me and made me fit to be a vessel of honor. I am sanctified and useful to you, my God and my Master. I am prepared by your indwelling spirit for every good work.

I flee worldly lust, and I avoid foolish arguments and crude talk. I pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on you, Lord, out of a pure heart.

I’m belong to you, father, so I do not quarrel, but I am gentle to all, able to teach, patient, and humble. I pray others will come to know you. That they will come to their senses and escape from the traps of the devil and the plots of this world. Grant repentance, dear Lord.

Hold Fast

2 Timothy 1&2

Thank you, father, for your grace which you gave to me before time began. Now your grace is revealed in the appearance of my Savior, Jesus Christ. He has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

I believe your gospel, father, and I am persuaded that you are able to keep all I have committed to you until your day. In faith and love in Christ Jesus, I hold fast to your living word. You hold firmly to the work you have done in me by your Holy Spirit who dwells in me.

So, I am strong in your divine grace that is in Christ Jesus. I endure hardship as a good soldier. I am yours, father, and I no longer entangle myself in the affairs of the fleshy life. I thank you for your understanding in all things.

Lord Jesus, you were raised from the dead as the gospel says. Through you I have obtained salvation to the glory of God, our father. I have died with you, Lord Jesus. I shall also live with you. I endure, and I shall reign with you. You, Lord Jesus, are faithful.

Poured Out in Abundance

Titus 3,2&3

Thank you, father, that in accord with your mercy you saved me. You washed me with regeneration and the renewing of your Holy Spirit whom you poured out on me in abundance through Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.

Now I have been justified by your grace, Lord Jesus, and I am an heir according to the hope of eternal life.

Your grace, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, has appeared to me. You have brought me salvation and taught me to deny ungodliness and worldly lust. Now I live soberly, righteously, and Godly in this present age.

I keep my eyes on you, Lord Jesus, and your word. I see your blessed hope and look forward to your glorious appearing.

Your work, Lord Jesus, has redeemed me from every lawless deed and purified me, so that I am your special friend, zealous to believe you, to love you, and to be of use to you, my Lord and Savior.

I avoid arguments for they are unprofitable and useless. I reject devisive people, and I press on to maintain good works and to meet urgent needs, so that I may be fruitful to your honor and glory, father.

Establish Me

2 Thessalonians 2&3

You are God, father, and I thank you that you have loved me and given me everlasting consolation and good hope by your grace.

Now, Lord Jesus, by your presence dwelling in me, take charge of me. Comfort my heart, and establish me in your good work and in the work you have declared beforehand that I would walk in.

Deliver me from unreasonable and wicked people, Lord. I know you are faithful to establish me and to guard me from the evil one. I have confidence in your presence in me.

I know that you will lead me in divine strategy, and that I will thereby be obedient to do all that you command. You direct my heart, father, and I love you with all my heart, and soul, and strength.

I am patient in Christ. I withdraw from disorderly people and from doctrine that does not agree with your word, father. I like to work in quietness and peace, and eat my own bread. I enjoy good. And you, the Lord of Peace, are my peace always in every way.

Whatever I Do

Colossians 3; 1 Corinthians 1; Colossians 3

Fill me, Holy Spirit and take charge of my every thought. Speak to my heart so that I will know the thoughts, intents, and purposes of your heart.

By your presence, Holy Spirit, the word of Christ dwells in me richly in all wisdom, righteousness, redemption, and sanctification. Your word, through fellowship with me, teaches and admonishes me as well as those who hear me.

I muse and meditate on your word in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs. I sing to you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with grace in my heart for your love and salvation.

Whatever I do in word or deed, I do all in your name, Lord Jesus, and I give thanks to you, father, through Jesus. Whatever I do, I do it heartily as to you, father, and not to men, knowing that from you I received the reward of the inheritance, for I serve my Lord Jesus Christ.

Those Who Remain

Colossians 3

Your wrath, father, is coming on those who remain sons of disobedience. Once I walked as one of them, but by your grace and call I have been born again. I have been raised with Christ, and now I seek those things which are above.

I put off anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, foolish talk, and filthy language. I tell the truth. I put off the old man and put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge every day, all day, according to your Holy Spirit who lives in me.

I begin to be conformed to the image of Jesus, your son, father. Now I am no longer concerned with Jew or gentile, old or young, race or gender, instead it is all about Christ. He is all and in all, and his presence in me makes all my life divine.

I am elect of God. I put on mercy, kindness, humility, and patience. I am quick to forgive. Your peace, father, rules in my heart, and I am thankful.

The Substance

Colossians 2&3

Father, by your grace to me, I continue in the faith. I am grounded and steadfast, and I am not moved away from the omnipotent hope of your gospel.

I have received Christ Jesus as my Lord. I walk with him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith as your word teaches. I abound in thanksgiving.

Your word and your Spirit, father, dwell in me, so that I am not confused by worldly philosophy or outright deceit. I am not judged in food or drink or in regard to festivals or sabbaths. These are merely shadows, but the substance is ceaseless communion with Christ.

Jesus is the head of your body, and from him each of us is nourished and knit together as members of your body. Therefore, I have died with Christ to the basic principles of the world and from the passions of the flesh, and I have been born again in Christ, and I seek those things that are yours, father.

My Hope

1 Corinthians 2; Colossians 1; 1 Corinthians 1; Colossians 2; John 14

Thank you, father, for an understanding of your hidden wisdom; your mystery which many in the past have not known or understood. But now, through your word and your illumination, you have revealed the things you have prepared for us who love you.

You have made known to me the riches of the glory of your means which is Christ in me. Him dwelling in me is my hope of glory. His person in me is glorious, and he is wisdom, righteousness, redemption, and sanctification for me.

Now as I commune with you, father, I attain to all the riches of the full assurance of understanding to the knowledge of your mysterious means of sovereign victory.

You revealed your love to me. I began to love you and to keep my eyes on your word. You gave me your Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, who abides in me forever. You did not leave me orphaned, but you came to me.

You, Lord Jesus, are in the father, and you are in me, and I am in you. I know your word, and I feast on your word. I keep my eyes on your word, and I love you, and I realize you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, love me, and you make your abode in me.

Delivered

Colossians 1; Ephesians 2; Colossians 1; Ephesians 2; Colossians 1

Thank you, father, that by your grace you chose to qualify me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light. You have delivered me from the power of darkness, and you have conveyed me into the kingdom of your beloved son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

In Jesus I have redemption by his atoning sacrifice, and my sins are forgiven. By your grace, through faith in Jesus’s work, I am saved.

I once was alienated from you, father, sold out to wicked works and perverted lusts, but now you have opened my eyes and granted me repentance and true forgiveness.

Now I am filled with knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. I am led by your Holy Spirit, father, and able to walk worthy of you, fully pleasing to you and fruitful in every good work.

For I am your workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works which you, father, ordained beforehand that I would walk in. I am grounded and steadfast in Christ, and I am rooted in the hope of your gospel, father. I know the riches of your glory.
