Established

Psalm 18(thru out); Ephesians 2; Hebrews 4; 1 John 5; 1 Corinthians 1; 2 Corinthians 10; 1 Peter 5

You, oh Lord, my God, have put your light within me. You have enlightened me. Now I can be used by you for the spiritual, eternal things that you have prepared beforehand that I would walk in.

Your word, oh Lord, is proven. It is truth and life. It is a sharp sword that separates. It gives everlasting life and peace, or it condemns without doubt. I trust you, Lord, and you are my shield.

You are God. You are my Lord. You are my rock. You arm me against deception. You protect me from the evil one. You are my strength, and through Christ, you are wisdom, redemption, righteousness, and sanctification in me. I am mature in Christ.

You make my mind quick on its feet, and I’m able to take ungodly thoughts captive and to pull down wrong beliefs. My arm and mind is strong for your things Father.

You are the shield of my salvation, Father. You hold me up. You fill me with gentleness, and you keep me mature, established, strengthened, and secure.

Glad In It

Psalm 21(thru out); Deuteronomy 4; Ezekiel 36; Ephesians 1; Acts 17

Father, I have joy in your strength. You are Almighty God, and every desire and plan and purpose of yours is perfectly fulfilled in your exact time.

I rejoice in your salvation for me. You have given me the desires of my heart, and along the way, you have changed my heart from one of stone to one of compassion and peace. You hear my petitions with the love of a perfect father.

You bless me daily with goodness. Your presence is goodness. You have adopted me and put a crown on my head and made me a prince in your kingdom. In you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I live and move and have my being.

I asked to be born again, and you had already granted that and done the work in me that I would have eternal life. Now I am blessed with your presence and communion forever and ever. My hope of glory is you, Lord Jesus, with your glory, dwelling in me, and I am glad of it.

Help From Your Sanctuary

Psalm 20; John 14; 2 Corinthians 13

Father, by your grace and for your own reasons, you chose me and anointed me for salvation. In time of brokenness and repentance, I called on you, and you answered me from your holy heaven with the saving strength of your right hand. You gave me the gift of your Holy Spirit forever and always.

Now I rejoice in your salvation, and I exalt your name, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I set up banners and events to honor you.

Thank you for your mercy and power in every detail of my life. You commune with me in times of trouble, and you defend me. You send me help from your sanctuary, and you strengthen me with your word and presence.

You are kind and loving, and you grant me so many of my personal desires. I enjoy the beauty of your creation and the sweetness of fellowship with your saints. You fulfill your purposes for me, and you hear my petitions.

I do not trust the power or wisdom of man. I do not trust society or national prestige. I trust in your love, Father, and in the grace of Jesus, and in the communion of your Holy Spirit.

Complete and Alive

Psalm 19;1 Peter 1; 1 John 1; Hebrews 10; Romans 9

Your scripture, oh Lord, is complete and alive, and it has converted my soul. By your living word, your incorruptible seed, I have been born again.

Your Holy Spirit witnesses truth to me, and I am made wise. Your Apostles bear witness to me what they have heard and seen with their own eyes. They affirm and declare that you, Father, have eternal life and that that life manifests to me through fellowship with you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Your precepts are exactly right, and your rightness fills me with joy in a hateful and foolish world. Your commandments give me good leading and keep me holy before you and among men.

I have great reverence for you, Father and that fear holds me and cleans me. You are Almighty God, and I exalt you. In you, I have cleansing, and my heart is sprinkled from an evil conscience.

Your judgments are all together true and righteous, Father. You are the potter. Your creation is the clay. If you will, you can make vessels of honor headed for mercy and vessels of dishonor fitted out for destruction. All this is to make your power and mercy known.

You are God, and there is no other. You set the standard, and you rule the kingdom.

I Have Seen Your King

Isaiah 6; Matthew 3; Isaiah 6; 2 Corinthians 5

Holy, holy, holy, are you, Father. You are the Lord of Hosts, and the whole earth is filled with your glory. You sit on your throne, high and lifted up, and the train of your presence fills every place and everything.

You have ministered to me, Lord. I see that I am unclean and lost, and I dwell in the midst of others who are unclean and lost.

But, by your grace, I have seen your King. Your Holy Spirit has touched me. I have been baptized with water and fire from the Lord Jesus. My iniquity is taken away, and my sin is purged.

Now, by your grace, I hear, and I understand. I see, and I perceive. My heart is sharp for your love, Lord. I hear, and my eyes are open. I see, and I hear, and I understand your will and your way, Lord.

You have touched my heart. I have returned to you, my Lord and Savior, and I am healed and made new and reconciled to God, my Father.

Careful to Not Drift Away

Hebrews 2; Romans 12; Hebrews 2

Father, I give earnest heed to your word. I draw close to you, careful not to drift away. By your grace, you have given me a great salvation. I do not neglect it.

Jesus, your Christ, spoke of this salvation, and then the apostles wrote of it, and you, Father, bore witness to the truth of it with signs and wonders and even miracles. You bore witness to me personally through the move of your Holy Spirit in my life.

Your Spirit convicted me and showed me myself and taught me. You communed with me through your Spirit and your word. Events and circumstances and provisions occurred, and occur in my life that show me your presence with me and your hand upon me. You renew my mind to your real eternal salvation, and I am transformed.

Now I know that Jesus is the Captain of my salvation, and he proved his perfection by the things that he suffered. Now he who sanctifies and I who am sanctified are all miraculously of one stock. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call me brother.

Jesus the Messiah

Hebrews 1

Lord Jesus, God, our Father, has appointed you heir of all things and created the worlds through you. You, Lord Jesus, are the very brightness of the glory of God, and you are the express image of the person of God. You uphold all the plans and decrees and promises of God, our Father, by your words and your divine power.

By yourself, you purged my sins and sat down at the right hand of majesty on high. You are God. You are much more than the angels, and by inheritance from God, our Father, you have obtained the most excellent name.

For God, our Father, says, ” You are my son. You are begotten by me. Let all the angels worship you. You are God, and your throne is forever and ever. A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom.

“Therefore, I, Almighty God, the Father, have anointed you with the oil of gladness. You forever remain the same Almighty and beloved Deliver, and your years will not fail.”

According to the Hope

Titus 3

Father, fill me today with God the Spirit. You are my peace, and you sweeten my character. I am ready for every good work. I am obedient, and I speak evil of no one. I am peaceable and gentle.

I am humble because I remember once when I lived in my flesh how foolish and corrupt my life was. I served my lusts and was hateful and hurtful.

But then, Father, Hallelujah, the kindness and love of my Lord and Savior Jesus appeared and became real to me, and by his mercy, he saved me.

Heavenly Father, Jesus washed me with regeneration and renewed your Holy Spirit within me. I was born again, cleaned up, and reconciled to you. Through Christ, my Savior, you poured yourself out on me and into me abundantly.

Now I am justified by your grace, and I have become your heir according to the hope of your eternal life.

Straight From You

Titus 2; Ephesians 2

Thank you, Father, for grace, mercy, and peace straight from you to me through my Lord Jesus Christ. For your grace, oh Lord, brings salvation to me and teaches me to deny ungodliness and worldly lust.

Today, Father, by your living word and the person of your Holy Spirit, I live soberly, righteously, and in Godly communion with you, Father, in this present age.

I keep my eyes and thoughts on the blessed hope and the glorious appearing of my great God and Savior Jesus Christ.

You, Lord Jesus, gave yourself for me. You have redeemed me from every lawless deed and purified me to be your own kindred. Now I agree with you, and I am zealous for your good works to flow from me.

I am humbled, awestruck, and fiercely encouraged that I am your workmanship, and I have been created in Christ Jesus, by you, Father, for good works that you determined beforehand I would walk in.

Transformed and Conformed

Titus 1; Romans 12&8; Titus 1

Good morning, Father. With joy I proclaim that I am your bond servant and a disciple of Jesus Christ through the faith you have given me as one of your elect.

I live in truth through your word, and my life is now lived in godliness. I have the sure hope of eternal life which you, Father, Almighty God who cannot lie, have promised me in due time.

You have graciously renewed my mind, and I am transformed and conformed into the image of my Lord Jesus. Now, by faith and by your indwelling spirit, I am blameless before you.

I am a husband of one wife. I am not self-willed, nor quick tempered. I love what is good. I’m not given to wine nor violent. I’m not greedy for money.

No, now by your grace in me and on me, I am hospitable, self-controlled, and patient. I live filled with peace, holding fast to your words of faith. I live by sound doctrine, and I teach and exhort others with hope and patience and faith in the life and power of your word.
