Luke 9 & 10; John 6; Luke 10
Lord Jesus, you are glorious. You are God’s beloved son, and I listen to you. You did not come to destroy men’s lives. You came to save. I am yours, Lord Jesus. I have put my hands on your gospel plow, and, by your grace, I am not looking back.
I hear you, Lord, and I love your words. You have given me authority over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt me, nevertheless, what I really rejoice in is that my name is written with you in heaven.
God, our father, has given me to you, and you, Lord Jesus, will never cast me out.
Through your word and by your spirit, my eyes see, and my ears hear the things many prophets and kings longed to hear and see. I sit at your feet, Lord Jesus, and I hear your word. That hearing is the one thing that is needed. That perfect, personal communion with you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is the good part, and I choose that.
