Rest

Matthew 11

I come into you, Lord Jesus, day by day and hour by hour. I am thankful that you have carried the burden of pleasing the Father and fulfilling his law that was too heavy a load for me to carry. Thereby, you have given all of us, who are yours, divine rest.

I give myself to you, Lord Jesus. I believe you are the Christ, and I receive you as my Lord. I take your yoke upon me, never to be separated from you.

I learn from your word and from your spirit, who now dwells in me. You are totally confident and humble. You know, our Father, and you know he is God, and now I find perfect rest in you.

You hold me and convert me and transform me. You lead me in paths of sweet righteousness. My yoke with you is easy, and my burden is light.

Full

Matthew 4&11; Romans 12

Hallelujah, Father, you only do I worship, and you only do I serve. I thank you for wisdom and truth to repent. I thank you that you have put your kingdom in me. I follow Jesus as my Lord now, and he has made me a fisher of men!

I seek you with desperate need, and you have put me in your kingdom, and you have put your kingdom in me. I sorrow over my past failures, but you comfort me perfectly.

I hunger and thirst for righteousness, and you fill me with your person and your holiness, and I am satisfied.

My joy is full. I remain in your rest. I walk and live in your good and pleasing and perfect will.

The Water of Life

Revelation 22, 19&21

Thank you, Father, that the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is with me! Lord Jesus, you have come to me, and your reward is with you. I am blessed because I have your word, and I keep my eyes and mind on your word.

You show me a pure river of the water of life, clear as crystal. It flows to me from you and through you and back to you.

I sing, hallelujah! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to you, my Lord and my God. True and righteous are your judgments. You, Lord God Omnipotent, reign.

Thank you, Lord, that you have made all things new for me. You give me freely from the fountain of the water of life. Through your grace, by your indwelling spirit, I have overcome the lusts of the flesh and the penalty of sin, and I shall inherit all the things you have for me. You are my God, and I am your son.

The King of Kings and Lord of Lords

Revelation 19

Salvation and glory and honor and power all belong to you, my Lord and great God. Righteous and true are your judgments. I praise you, Lord. I serve you, and I fear you.

Hallelujah, you are Lord God, all powerful. I am glad, and I rejoice and give you glory. You have cleaned me and made me part of the bride of the Lamb. By Christ’s righteousness on my behalf, I am clean and bright.

I am blessed to be called to the marriage supper of the lamb. Jesus, the Prophet, has testified to these things, and he has brought them to pass

At your time appointed, Father, heaven will open, and Jesus, faithful and true, will arrive, mounted on a white horse. In righteousness, he will judge and make war.

His eyes will shine like fire. On his head are many crowns. He will have a name beyond my understanding. His robe will be blood red. He is the word of God.

The armies of heaven, clothed in white linen and clean, will follow him on white horses. Out of his mouth goes the sharp sword, his word, and with it, he strikes the nations. He, himself, rules the nations with a rod of iron. He, himself, treads the wine presses of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God, our father.

Jesus is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

True and Righteous

Revelation 15&16

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, great and marvelous are your works. Just and true are your ways, oh King of the Saints! All will fear you, oh Lord, and glorify your name, for you alone are holy!

All nations will come and worship before you, for your judgments are manifest and will be fully manifested to all, on your day.

You are righteous, oh Lord. You are the one who is and who was and who is to be. You judge all those who shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you give them blood to drink, for you decree, it is their just due.

Even so, Lord God Almighty, your judgments are true and righteous.

Worthy To Take and To Open

Revelation 4&5

You are worthy, Father God, to receive glory and honor and power for you created all things, and by your will, they exist and were created.

Worthy are you, Lord Jesus, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the root of David. You are worthy to take the scroll and to open the seals, for you were slain and have redeemed me to God, my father.

You have chosen many, by your blood, out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation. You have made us kings and priests to God, our heavenly and eternal father, and we shall reign on earth.

Worthy are you, Lord Jesus, who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.

Blessing and honor and glory and power be to you, God, my father, and to you, Lord Jesus, the Lamb of God, and my Lord and Savior.

In The Heavenlies

Revelation 1-3

Lord Jesus, I know you are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. You are the Almighty. You are he who is, who was, and who is to come

You, Lord, are alive forevermore. You have the keys of Hades and of death. The angels are in your hand, and you walk among your churches. You are fierce and fearful, but by your grace, you have chosen me to love, so I am not afraid.

My concern now is only to please you, to have a heart perfect toward you, Lord Jesus. Strengthen me, Lord, that I will be faithful to you unto death, that I would keep my eyes on your word and always witness to your life and truth

You have opened my heart to you. You, Lord Jesus, have filled me with your Holy Spirit. We commune now constantly. In Christ, I have overcome the lust of the world, and I sit with you, my Lord and Savior, in the heavenlies.

Forever and Ever

1 John 1&2

Lord Jesus, by John’s declaration and eye witness testimony, I know I have fellowship with you and with our Heavenly Father. My joy is full.

I walk in the light, Lord Jesus, for you are the light. You commune with me, and your blood cleanses me from all sin. I am humbled by my human weakness, so I am sober and watchful and quick to see my tendency to sin.

I confess when I fall short, and you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, are faithful and just to forgive me and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

I keep my eyes and faith on your word, and you guide me like markers in a channel. You continually perfect the new man who is born in me, and I begin to walk just as you walked, Lord Jesus!

I do not love the foul world system that tries to stand against you, Father. All the foolishness and perversion, all the lies and greed that are in the lost world’s system are not of you.

This world is passing away, and the lust of it. But I gaze upon Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and I have eternal life with you, Father, forever and ever!

Never

2 Peter 1

Thank you, Father, for the gift of a like and precious faith in you as my Heavenly Father, and in Jesus, your Christ, as my Lord and Savior. Grace and peace are multiplied to me, as I grow in a precise and correct understanding of you and in communion with you.

Your divine power births your nature in me and gives me all things pertaining to life and godliness, through that personal knowledge and fellowship.

You have called me to glory and virtue and have given me the exceedingly great and precious promises of your holy scripture. Your word has birthed your divine nature in me as my “new” man, so now, I am a partaker of your eternal life and have escaped the corruption that is in the world.

This is all from your loving grace, and it moves me to be diligent to strengthen my faith; to add to my faith, virtue, and to virtue, knowledge, and to knowledge, temperance, and to temperance, perseverance, to perseverance, godliness, and to godliness, divine love for you, Father, and for my neighbors.

If I invest and nurture these things, if they abound in me, then I will never be barren or unfruitful.

The End

1 Peter 1

I greatly rejoice, Father, because you, Great and Almighty God, the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, have, according to your abundant mercy, begotten me again to a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

You have chosen me and qualified me to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled that does not fade away, and that is reserved for me in heaven.

I am saved and kept by your power, Father, through faith, for salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time.

Now, while in this flesh, for a little while, I am troubled by various trials. These just prove the genuineness of my faith which is tested and found precious and pure to the praise, honor, and glory of your real presence and power in me, Lord Jesus.

I have not seen you, but I have known the love of communion with your word and your Holy Spirit. I have not seen you with my eyes, but I have seen your personal effect on my character and my mind and my heart.

I know your gospel is real, and I rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of my faith, the salvation of my soul.
