John 15 & 16

Lord Jesus, you speak marvelous, and amazing things to me. Your joy remains in me. Because of your everlasting divine person, my joy is full. I am not of this world, because you have chosen me out of this world. You appoint me to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last.

I ask, in your name, Lord Jesus, to be accurate in following you, and to be led by your spirit in every detail and decision so that I may be a useful instrument in your hand, and our father grants my desires. He gives those things to me exceedingly abundantly beyond all I can ask or think.

I do what you commend me to do. I keep my eyes on your word, and you organize and perfect my thoughts. You, Lord Jesus, have given your life for me, and you call me, friend. You show me and tell me of our father.

Now, you have sent the helper to me from our father. He is God, the Spirit, the Spirit of Truth. Now he communes with me ceaselessly. He testifies to me of you, Lord Jesus. He witnesses to me the presence and power and peace of you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, of the assurance of my sweet salvation.
