Lifted Up

Acts 2

Father, you have made Jesus both Lord and Christ. You have raised him up and seated him at your right hand, with glory and honor. You have poured out your spirit on all who are yours. By your grace through faith, I have believed in Christ Jesus and repented of my sins and been baptized in his name.

Now I continue steadfastly in your word and the doctrine of your gospel. I gather with other believers, and we fellowship and believe together. I live in gladness and simplicity of heart praising you, Father.

Now I am led by your spirit. Jesus, my Lord, is ever before my face. He holds me and teaches me, and I am not shaken. My heart rejoices, and my tongue is glad. My flesh rests in the hope of all of your promises, Father, and I dwell at rest, in constant communion with you.

You have not left me in Hades, and you have lifted me up out of corruption. You have made known to me the ways of life, and I am filled with the joy of your presence, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
