The Treasure

2 Corinthians 4; Galatians 5; Ephesians 1

Good morning, Holy Spirit, thank you for your indwelling presence and for your divine life and glory. You are the treasure who fills me, and the glory is the very presence of God, with my body as your vessel.

You have called me to liberty, not liberty as an opportunity to sin, but liberty, through love, to serve our father as an instrument in his hand

Today, Holy Spirit, I walk, led by you, and I do not fulfill the old lust of my flesh. I am led by you, Holy Spirit. Out of my life, flows your fruit: love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. I am dead to my flesh and alive in you, Holy Spirit. I live in fellowship with you, and I walk with you, led by you.

I’ve heard the word of truth, the gospel of my salvation, and I have believed it, and you, Holy Spirit, have sealed me as belonging to God, our father.

Your presence now in me, and on me, guarantees me that I am God‘s own child, and that I belong to him forever; that I am redeemed, and that I will be redeemed in the last day. You, Holy Spirit, are my assurance of redemption and of eternity with God, in his glory and to his praise.
