Perfect and Pleasing

Ephesians 6; Romans 12

Hallelujah, thank you, Father, that you are strong in me today. The power and person of your mighty Holy Spirit fills me today, and I am able to stand against the lies and deception of each evil day.

I take up your provision of complete, divine armor, and I am able to withstand evil and to stand in all that needs to be done.

Therefore, I stand, faithfully girded about with your true gospel. I know the real “reality”.

My heart is covered, and encouraged, and credited with the righteousness of Christ. My feet are firmly shod with the hope and peace of your Gospel of grace and salvation.

I know the perfect hope that I now have in Christ. My mind is sound and secure because I know I am saved for sure and forever, and nothing can change that.

My thoughts and my speech are made obedient and clean because your word renews my mind. Your word marinates my thoughts and dreams, and I’m able to walk, and stand, and live in your perfect and pleasing will.

Abiding Presence

Matthew 9; Hebrews 6 & 7

Thank you, Lord Jesus, that my sins are forgiven. You are just to forgive my sins because you, Lord Jesus, are the high priest of the good things to come. You ministered for me in the greater and perfect Tabernacle in heaven, the one not made with hands.

With your own blood, you entered the most holy place once for all and obtained eternal redemption for all of us who are yours. You, Lord Jesus, the Father’s Christ, offered yourself without spot to God and thereby cleansed me from dead works, and set me free to serve our father, the living God.

You, Lord, are the mediator of the new covenant that we, who are called, may live in the promise of eternal inheritance. You, Lord Jesus, have entered the true holy place in heaven and appeared in the presence of our father on my behalf.

There you make daily intercession for me. You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, commune with me, and you witness your love and abiding presence to my spirit.

Sealed and Delivered and Led

John 6; Matthew 7; Hebrews 12; Luke 11; Galatians 5

Lord Jesus, the will of the Father is that I see you as the Son of God and that I believe you are the Messiah. I see you, Lord Jesus, in your scripture. I commune with you through your indwelling Holy Spirit. I believe you are the Son of God, the Father’s Christ, and my Lord and Savior.

Through faith, I have everlasting life, and you will raise me up at the last day. The Father gave me to you, and you will not lose me.

I know you, Lord, and I know your word. I do what you command. I build my life on you, Lord Jesus. You are the rock of my salvation. You are the author and finisher of my faith.

I ask and seek and knock, and our father has given me the gift of the Holy Spirit. Now, I am filled with your very presence, Lord Jesus. I am sealed and delivered and led by you now and forever.

I am yours, Lord Jesus. I have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Now, I live in your spirit, and I walk in your spirit.

Anything I Need

Galatians 5; Matthew 6

Father, I seek to obey you and to be led every moment by your spirit, so that my time and effort pleases you and begins to bear treasure in heaven where neither moth nor rust can destroy, and where thieves cannot steal.

My heart is with you now, Father, and my real, important treasure is with you as well. Hallelujah, I thank you for that peace.

Lord God, give me a new heart and a desire to seek good and Godly things. Do not let me be deceived by lust or by human foolishness. Focus my eyes on you and your kingdom today and again tonight and then forever.

Give me an unction to serve only you, my God, then I will not worry about life in this flesh; about what I will eat or what I will wear. Instead, I will have faith to know that you, Father, who feed the birds and clothe the flowers, will certainly take care of my physical needs because you love me and already know all that I need.

Instead, I will seek your kingdom. I will live in Christ as my righteousness, and anything else I need will be added to my life.

In Every Detail

Matthew 6; 1 John 5

Father, you know me. Your spirit dwells in me, and we commune as son to father and as friend to friend. We speak in private, and you reward me openly.

I do not use vain repetition, rather I speak to you as my father for you already know the things I have need of before I even ask.

You are my father in heaven, and I hallow your name. I welcome your kingdom into my life and into this world.

Your will is done in every detail of my life and throughout human history, just as you have ordained things to be from heaven.

You feed my spirit today with your word, and you forgive me of my sins, and you prompt me to forgive anyone who has hurt or offended me.

You guard me from being deceived by temptation, and you deliver me from evil and from the evil one. I belong to you, Father, and the evil one cannot touch me.

What Matters

Psalm 33

Father, I rejoice in you and in your love for me. You are righteous, and by your grace, you have begun to work your righteousness into me and out of me. I praise you, as you renew my mind. I make melody with the skill you have given me. I sing to you a new song. I shout for joy.

Your word, oh Lord, is right. All your work is done in truth. You love righteousness and justice. The earth is full of your goodness, Father. You, oh Lord, bring the counsel of man to nothing. The foolish plans of the peoples have no effect on you. Your council, Father, is what matters, and your council stands forever.

Bring our nation back to you, Father, for a nation who worships you as almighty, sovereign God, is blessed. In you, Father, we have a sure and beautiful inheritance.

My soul waits on you, Lord. You are my help and my shield. My heart rejoices in you. I trust in you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and your loving kindness and tender mercy is upon me now and forever.

Cleanse and Renew

Romans 10; Colossians 1; Matthew 3 & 4

Good morning, Lord Jesus. Thank you for my salvation. You are my Lord and my Savior. I say with my mouth that you are Lord, and I believe in my heart that God, our father, raised you from the dead.

Now, by God’s decree and election, you, Lord, live in me through God the Spirit. By your grace, I am baptized with the Holy Spirit, and you, Holy Spirit, burn like a fire within me.

The words of Jesus and the Apostles cleanse me of lies and lusts like a fire cleanses the earth, and you, Lord Jesus, fan that fire, and you thoroughly cleanse my heart and renew my mind.

Now, I do not live by bread alone, but I live by every word that proceeds from your throne and your mouth, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. I do not test you, Father. I receive you by faith and trust your promises.

I worship you, Lord. You only do I worship and serve.

You Have Chosen Me

Psalm 103; Ephesians 2; Psalm 103; 2 Corinthians 12; John 15; Ephesians 1

Lord God, I say, bless you. Thank you that by your grace, through faith, my soul is alive and able to turn to you and to commune with you, and able to say, bless you, Lord.

Now, through your word, I know your benefits. You forgive my iniquities. You heal my diseases. You have redeemed my life from destruction. You have crowned me with loving kindness and tender mercies.

You satisfy my mouth with good things. Good physical food yes, but more than that, your living word, through praise and song, in my heart and out of my mouth. My youth is renewed like feathers renewed on an eagle.

You, Father, are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in mercy. Your mercy is great to those who fear you.

You know me, Lord. You know I came from dust. You know my weakness, but you are my strength now because, by your grace and for your purposes, you have chosen me.

Yours Eternally

1 Corinthians 6; 2 Corinthians 5; Hebrews 10; Colossians 1; Galatians 5; Luke 10; Romans 8

Lord Jesus, thank you for my salvation. I belong to you. I have been bought with a price.

Now I am in you, Lord Jesus, and you are in me. I am a new creation. The old has passed, and now behold, all is new in me, a new man, reconciled to God, my father, and cleansed and forgiven of my sins.

You dwell in me, Lord Jesus, and that is glorious. I am led by your Holy Spirit in every thought and intention. You, Lord Jesus, have given me authority to trample over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me.

I thank you for the authority and protection, nevertheless, more than for authority, I rejoice that my name is written in heaven.

I rejoice, and again I say I rejoice, because I belong to you Lord Jesus, and nothing and no one can separate me from your love, Lord. I am yours eternally.

Revived

Psalm 119; 1 Peter 1

Hallelujah, Father, you give me understanding through your word. My prayers and supplications come before you. You hear me and deliver me according to your promises and provisions.

My lips utter praises to you. Your word stays on my tongue, and you teach me your statutes. Your word is righteousness.

Your law is my delight, and by your word, I have salvation and delight. My soul lives, and I praise you.

My heart stands in awe of your word. I rejoice at your word as one who finds a great treasure.

Forever, oh Lord, your word is settled in heaven. Your faithfulness endures for generations.

I would have perished had it not been for your word. Through your word, you have given me life. I am yours, Father. You have saved me. My hope is in your word, and I am revived according to your word; born again by your incorruptible seed.
