Filled with Hope

I am filled with hope because God’s love has been poured into my heart through the Holy Spirit who is been given to me. Jesus, the Christ, died for me, while I was still lost in sin, by that God showed his love for me.  I have been justified by Jesus’ sacrificial death and I am saved from the wrath of God.

For If while I was God’s enemy I was reconciled to God by the death of his son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall I be saved by his life.  And even more than that, I also rejoice in God through my Lord Jesus, the Christ, through whom I have now received reconciliation.  The grace of God and the free gift, by that grace, from Jesus, have abounded to me. I reign in life, God life, through the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness. Thank you, father.

Shepherd the Flock

By gods grace I shepherd the flock of god that is around me. I look them over, willingly and eagerly being an example for them. When the chief Shepherd appears I will receive the unfading crown of glory. I put on every day, humility, for God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.  Therefore, I humble myself under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt me. I cast all my anxieties on him, because he cares for me.

I am sober minded and watchful. My adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. I resist him form not my faith, knowing that other brethern before me have experienced the trials and prevailed through faith; knowing that after a while the God of all grace who has called me to his eternal glory in Christ will himself restore, confirm, strengthen and establish me.

Called By The Father

Christ suffered in the flesh. By god’s grace I also am crucified with Christ; I no longer live but Christ lives in me, so I have ceased from sin, so as to live for the rest of my time in the flesh, no longer for human passions but for the will of God. I am tempered and sober minded  by the word of God and the presence of the Holy Spirit. By gods grace I love others. I show hospitality. I use the gifts of God to serve others. I pray that when I speak, the words will be the very words of God. I pray that I serve by the strength of God in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus, the Christ, alive in me.

Today I humble myself under the mighty hand of God. I cast all my cares on him for he cares for me. I resist the devil, firm in my faith, knowing that the God of all grace who has called me to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself  restore, confirm, strengthen and establish me.

Worthy

Lord, thank you that today you make me worthy of your calling for my life and that you fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith that you have placed in me, by your power.  By your grace and according to your word I resolve that I belong to you. I have been bought with a price; I am no longer my own. This life I live today I live by and in the faith of the Lord Jesus who loves me and gave himself for me

I am encouraged today that you have made an everlasting covenant with me that you will not turn away of doing good to me; that you rejoice in doing me good.  I set my eyes today on my Lord Jesus, the Christ. I press on to the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. God is for me so no one can prevail against me in his will. My Lord gives life to my mortal body through his Spirit who dwells in me.  Today I am led by the Spirit of God and I will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Free indeed!

Fully Persuaded

I am fully persuaded that what God has promised he is able to perform. I know whom I have believed and I am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.  For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate me from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus, my Lord.

For by the grace of God and according to the prayers of Jesus, I am one with God, the father, and the Lord Jesus, the Christ. The presence (glory) of the father with Jesus, now also dwells in me, so that I may become perfectly one with the Godhead, so that I may be with my Lord Jesus where he is.  Jesus has made known God, the father, to me and continues to make him known to me each day, so that I know that God, the father, loves me with the love of a perfect father. Thank you, Lord, for your presence.

Cleansed

Thank you, Lord, that by your grace and sacrifice I am cleansed. I am a honorable vessel in your hands, set apart as holy, useful to you, ready for every good work.  I am your workmanship set apart for good works which you, father, ordained before hand that I would walk in in Christ Jesus. I am led by your spirit. I flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.

I am not quarrelsome or easily provoked, but I am kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting with gentleness; confident that God will grant repentance to many folk leading them to a knowledge of the truth and then they will come to their senses  and escape from the snare of the devil, after having been captured to do his will.

Thoughts Made Obedient

Join with God. Agree with his word and let it change your inner narrative. Receive him as Lord. Get “in him” and him in you. Accept Him as Savior; apply and stand on his forgiveness and righteousness; appropriate the Holy Spirit’s leader ship and the Lord’s humility and be in the word and excited to repent.  Then you transfer from foolish to wise, selfish to self less, a slave to sin and the world to delivered and free to serve your Lord. You move from death to life, lost to found, a burden to those around you to a spring of living water to people.

No longer a victim of circumstances and bad breaks and evil people, but instead, a victor, by god’s grace, over the past, over your errors and meanness.  I am a thorough victor in Christ, overcoming death, hell and the grave; moving forward, looking forward not back, able to look at condemning thoughts and say, “yes, but… “.  No longer condemned but reconciled, justified, set free.

Set Free

Scripture informs our prayers. Preach it to yourself.

Without god, my father, and Jesus, my Lord, as the way to the father, where would I be? What would I have of any lasting significance?  But with him, by his grace, I have everything pertaining to life and godliness.  Thank you, Lord, for once I was dead, but now I am alive; once I was blind but now I see. I see what I was without you, and I see what I am with you.

I belong to Jesus now. He bought me; lifted me off of the scrapheap of foolish pride  and selfishness, and delivered me into the kingdom of God. Enabled by the Holy Spirit, I am a vessel filled with the Spirit of God; a channel of the living water of God’s gospel to those around me. I am an ambassador of reconciliation between god, the creator, and his creation; a child of the King; saved,  healed, delivered and set free from the bonds of this world.

But God

I am greatly loved! (Daniel 9:23, 10:11, 19)

Eph. 2

I was dead in the trespasses and sins in which I once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience, among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and I was by nature a child of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved me, even when I was dead in my trespasses, made me alive together with Christ – by grace I have been saved – and raised me up with him and seated meet with him in heavenly places in Christ Jesus,  so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace and kindness toward me in Christ Jesus.  For by grace I have been saved through faith. Thank you, father!

I Await A Savior

My citizenship is in heaven and from it I await a savior, the Lord Jesus, the Christ, who will transform my lowly body to be like his glorious body by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.  Therefore, I stand firm in the Lord. Therefore, I obey.  I work out my own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in me, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

I do all things without grumbling or disputing, that I may be blameless and innocent, a child of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom I shine as a light in the world, holding fast to the word of life.  Even if I am to be poured out as a drink offering; I am glad and rejoice in the faith. I rejoice in the Lord. I am the circumcision and I worship by the Spirit of God and glory in Jesus, the Christ, and put no confidence in the flesh.  I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus, my Lord.
