Peaceable Fruit

Proverbs 4 & 3; Hebrews 12

Good morning, Father, with joy and excitement, I give attention to your word. I incline my ear to all that you say. I keep my eye on your word, and I let your word fill my mind and my heart. Your word mounts guard over my heart, and out of my heart come the issues of life.

My heart retains your word. I keep your commands, and I live. From your word and your indwelling spirit, I get wisdom and leadership, wisdom and understanding. I exalt you, Lord, and I am filled with your glory.

I trust in you, Father, with all my heart, and I do not lean on my own understanding. In all my ways, I acknowledge you, and you direct my path.

I fear you, Lord, and I detest evil. In my reverence of you, you strengthen me and heal me.

I understand that you discipline me, Lord, because you love me, as a perfect father. You chasten every son who is yours.

You discipline me for my good that I will be a partaker of your holiness. No chastening seems pleasant at the moment nevertheless, your training yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to me.

That Day

Acts 20; Romans 12; 2 Timothy 4

Thank you, Father. I belong to you, and your word of grace fills me up and gives me an inheritance, a family, and a ministry.

Lord Jesus, I am a member of your body, the church, purchased with your own blood. You have declared to me the whole Gospel of God: repentance towards God, our father, and faith in you as Messiah and Lord.

Now I long to share with others the truth of your salvation, to proclaim and to teach. I do not count my life dear to myself, but offer it to you as a living sacrifice so that I may finish my race with joy and be useful in the ministry that you have given me.

By your grace and led by your spirit who lives in me, I will stay ready at any time to preach your word. I will hope, by your grace, to convince, rebuke, and exhort with complete patience.

Help me, Lord, to be watchful in all things, to endure well, and to fulfill the ministry you have for me.

I know there is laid up for me, and not just me, but for all who long for your appearing, a crown of righteousness which you, Lord Jesus, will give me on that day.

Assurance

Acts 17, 16, & 17

Father God, you made the world and everything in it. You are the Lord of Heaven and Earth. You do not dwell in temples made with hands. You are not worshiped with men’s hands as if you needed anything a man could give you.

You give life and breath to all things. You made from one blood every nation of man who dwells on the earth. You determine the pre-appointed time, places, and boundaries for all that you created.

You planned and perfected this so that all who are yours would seek you and find you because you are not far from each one who is yours. Each of yours is your offspring.

Now, by your grace, Father, I have come to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and I am saved. You have turned my world upside down.

I receive your word with readiness and gladness. I search your scripture and find your truth. I have repented of my sins. The risen Christ is the assurance of my salvation and life.

Risen, Seated, and Making

Romans 8; 2 Peter 1; Galatians 5

Father, you are for me, nothing can prevail against me. You freely give me all things pertaining to life and godliness. You elected me, and you justified me.

My Lord Jesus died to propitiate my sins and to reconcile me back to you, Father. Now he is risen from the dead and seated at your right hand and making intercession for me.

Around me, in this fallen world, is tribulation, distress, tragedy, and utter foolishness. Yet, in all of this, I am more than a conqueror because you chose me to love, Father. I know from your word that because I am securely in Christ, nothing can ever separate me from your love.

You are with me. Your spirit fills me and leads me. You never leave me or forsake me.

Therefore, I am strong and courageous. I obey your word. I do not turn from your word to the right or to the left. I prosper wherever I go.

Your word lives in me, and I meditate on it and commune with you, Father, day and night. I observe to do all that is written in your word.

You prosper me and give me good success. In Christ, I am strong and of good courage. I am not afraid or dismayed, for you, Father, are my God, and you are with me wherever I go.

Glory Forever

Psalms 103 & 104

I bless you, Lord. With all that is in me, I bless your holy name. You are my savior, my great Divine Benefactor.

You forgive my iniquities. You heal my diseases. You have redeemed my life from destruction, and you crown me with loving kindness and tender mercies. You give me good, living word to speak, and you renew my youth like the eagles.

You, Father, are righteous and just. You are merciful and gracious. You are very patient with me, and you abound in mercy toward me.

And so, I bless you, Lord, with all my mind, and soul, and strength, and heart. You are great. You are clothed with honor and majesty. You are light. In you is no darkness at all.

The clouds are your chariots. You walk on the wings of the wind. Your glory endures forever, Father. I sing praises to you. I am glad to be yours, Father, and glad to be in Christ.

Daily and All Day

Luke 11; Galatians 5; Romans 8; Ephesians 1; Acts 5

Father, you have given me the gift of your Holy Spirit, who now dwells in me. I am led by your Spirit and no longer led by my flesh.

Thank you, Holy Spirit, that you witness to me the truth of God’s word. You commune with me daily and all day. I am not left as an orphan, instead I am always with you.

You, Holy Spirit, are my guarantee that I belong to God. You seal me and assure me of salvation until the time of the redemption of the purchased possession by God, our Father, to the praise of his glory.

At one time, I and all of mankind murdered the Lord Jesus by hanging him on a tree, but you, great God, raised him from the dead and exalted him to your right hand as Prince and Savior.

In Christ and through Christ, I have been brought to repentance and forgiven of my sins. Now I am the witness to the mercy, and power, and redemption of Jesus, the Christ.

With Gladness

Acts 2

Lord Jesus, God our father has raised you up to sit on his throne. He did not leave your soul in Hades, nor did your flesh see corruption. Our father raised you up, Lord Jesus, and exalted you at his right hand.

You received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit, and then you poured out that Spirit on all of us who are yours.

You, Father, have made Jesus both Lord and Christ.

By your grace, Father, through faith in Jesus as your Christ and my Lord, I repent of my sins, and I have been baptized in the name of Jesus.

I have received the gift of your Holy Spirit. I have been saved from this perverse generation.

With gladness, I receive your word, and I continue steadfastly in your doctrine and fellowship, Lord Jesus.

In Your Presence

John 1; Acts 2

Hallelujah. Lord Jesus, you are the Word. You took on flesh and came into this world. Through you, all who believe you are the Messiah and who receive you as their Lord are born of God. You dwell among us.

You are God’s Christ, and that was attested to by miracles, wonders, and signs as you dwelt in our midst. You were delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, our father.

You, Lord Jesus, were taken by lawless hands, crucified, and put to death. Then God raised you up and loosed you from the pains of death, because it was not possible for death to hold you.

Now, by the grace of God, my father, I see you, Lord Jesus. You are near me, and I am not shaken. My heart rejoices, and my tongue is glad. I rest in hope.

You do not leave me, nor do you allow me to see corruption. You make known to me the way of life. I am full of joy in your presence.

Know and Sanctify

Ephesians 2; Ezekiel 36; 1 John 1; Ezekiel 36

Thank you, Father, for choosing me and convicting me. I was dead in my sin and selfishness. My choices were profaning your name. You broke me down, and I came to my senses.

I repented and ran back to you. You sprinkled me with clean water. I saw my sin and stubbornness. I saw how hard my heart was. I confessed my sin, and you, oh Lord, were faithful and just to forgive me and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

You took out my heart of stone and gave me a heart of flesh. You put your Holy Spirit within me and caused me to walk in your statutes and to keep your judgments. Now, I joyfully do your word.

I dwell in a place of faith that you have given me. I am yours, and you, oh Father, are mine. I know you, and I sanctify your great name.

Wrath

John 3

Father, you are just and merciful. You sent your son that the world through him could be saved. All who believe in him as their savior are not condemned, but those who do not believe are condemned already because they do not believe in the name of your only begotten son, Jesus, as Lord and Savior.

This is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and many people love darkness rather than the light. Their deeds are evil. They practice evil and hate the light because their evil is exposed.

By your grace, Father, I see that Jesus is the truth. I long to live in the truth with Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

Lord Jesus, I decrease, and you increase. You have come from the Father, and you are above all. You know the Father. You have seen him and communed with him.

You testify and certify that God is real and true. You speak the very words of God, our father. The Father loves you, Lord Jesus, and has given all things into your hand.

I believe you are the Christ, Lord Jesus, and I have everlasting life. Those who do not believe that you, Lord, are God’s son and the Savior shall not see life, and the wrath of God abides on them.
