Saved From The Wrath Of God

Romans 4&5

I believe you, father. I grow strong in faith as I give glory to you. I become fully convinced that you are able to do all that you have promised to do.  I believe that you raised Jesus, my Lord, from the dead. I believe Jesus was delivered up for my trespasses and raised for my justification.  Therefore, since I have been justified through faith, I have peace with you, father, through my Lord Jesus, the Christ.

Through him I have obtained access by faith into the grace in which I stand and I rejoice in hope of the glory of God.  I rejoice even in suffering knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put me to shame because your divine love has been poured into my heart through the Holy Spirit who has been given to me. While I was still a sinner Christ died for me. I am justified by his blood and saved by him from the wrath of God.

That In Everything God May Be Glorified

I Peter 3,2,1&4

Today in my heart I sanctify you, Lord Jesus, as holy. I am thankful and encouraged by the hope that is in me, that is: the presence of my heavenly father, the God of hope, and Jesus, the son of God, who bore my sins in his body that I could be dead to sin and live in righteousness.

By your wounds, Lord, I have been healed. I once strayed like a sheep, but now, by your grace, Lord Jesus, I have returned to you, the shepherd and overseer of my soul.   I have been born again by the imperishable seed; through the living and abiding word of God. Your word, oh Lord, remains forever. I hope fully in the grace that is brought to me through the revelation of you, Lord Jesus, as the Lord and as the Messiah.

Today I show hospitality without grumbling. I serve others as a good steward. I speak the very word of God; I serve in the strength you provide, Lord, in order that in everything You may be glorified in Christ Jesus.

Inexpressible Gift

Romans 12, 2 Cor. 11&10

Father, today I present myself to you as a living sacrifice. Fill me, Holy Spirit, that I will be useful to God, my Father, as an instrument in his hand. The challenges and choices of today are beyond my strength and wisdom, but they are easily dealt with by you.  Today, by your grace, I have a sincere and pure devotion to you, Lord Jesus. I keep my eyes on you and trust in your moment by moment grace. You make all grace abound to me so that I have all sufficiency in all things, at all times. I abound in every good work.

You supply and multiply your seed through me for sowing and increase in the harvest of your righteousness. I am enriched in every way, to be generous in every way, that not only supplies needs but overflows in thanksgiving to you, father.  The surpassing grace of God is upon me. Thanks be to you, father, for your inexpressible gift.

Holy and Beloved

Today, father, by your grace as your chosen child, holy and beloved, I put on a compassionate heart, kindness, humility, meekness and patience. Today I bear with others with the grace and mercy of your Holy Spirit.  If I have a complaint against anyone I forgive them as you, father, have forgiven me. And above all else I put on love which binds everything together in perfect harmony.  You, the God of peace, rule in my heart and I am called into the body of Christ. I am thankful.

I  let the word of Christ, my Lord, dwell in me richly, teaching and admonishing me in all wisdom. I let psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness to you, father, fill my heart.  Whatever I do in word or deed I do everything in the name of my Lord, Jesus the Messiah, giving thanks to you, father, through him.

Mighty To Save

Thank you, father, that you never leave me nor for sake me. You instruct me and teach me in the way I should go. You counsel me and watch over me. You strengthen me and help me.  You uphold me with your righteous right hand. I dwell in your shelter, Lord, and rest in the shadow of Almighty God, my father.

I hope in you, Lord. I wait upon you. I join with you and I am gathered together with you; twisted up with you; therefore, you renew my strength and I mount up on wings like an eagle. I run and grow not weary. I walk and do not faint.

I call to you, father, and you answer me and tell me great and unsearchable things. You, oh Lord, are my hiding place. You protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. You are with me, father, and mighty to save. You take delight in me.  You quiet me with your love.

Perfectly

Thank you, father God, for your amazing mercy and love. Thank you for the radical decision to choose me and to adopt me into your family, and to make me your child and heir. You are God and you chose me to be your child; I am yours forever and you will never cast me out.

This divine adoption, orchestrated and empowered by your divine grace, blasts all issues of earthly, fleshly fatherhood. Your love and claim for me triumphs over all parental failings, and it arms my mind with a sword of supernatural power with which I can take captive fleshly, self-centered, crippling thoughts and beliefs.

I view my earthly parenting through the lens of God my heavenly father’s care for me. I have a perfect father who loves me with a steadfast “forever” love. I am loved and nurtured perfectly.

Above Any Worldly Experience

Matt 6, Romans 8

Father God, you are my father. Your name is hallowed to me. You are great and mighty; above all. You are God of heaven and earth and I acknowledge and take heart in that.  You have chosen me and called me to come alive and to turn to you; you have adopted me and loved me and made me your heir. I am no longer left alone or abandoned, but now, by your mercies, father, I belong to the family of Almighty God.  Jesus, the Messiah, is my elder brother and he welcomes me and includes me as his own brother and friend.

I now have the complete love of a perfect father that transforms and overrides any imperfect father “issues” from my earthly family.  I thank you for life, father. I honor my earthly parents where honor is due, and I forgive them any trespasses against me. But, over and above any worldly experience, I now revel in you, God, my father,  and your healing power in me.

Thank You For Choosing Me

Romans 8

Today, father, by your grace, I walk according to your spirit. I set my mind on the things of the Spirit of God and there there is life and peace. Your spirit, heavenly father, dwells in me, therefore Christ is in me and my body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of Jesus’ righteousness. The very spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in me.  You raised Christ, father, and you give life to my mortal body through your Spirit who dwells in me.

By the presence of your spirit in me, father, I put to death the deeds of the body and I live by faith in the Lord Jesus who loves me and gave himself for me.  I am your son, father, for I am led by your spirit. I have received the Spirit of adoption as your son. I cry, Abba, father, you are mine and I am yours.  The holy spirit bears witness to me that I am your child. Thank you, Father, for choosing me.

I Will Never Leave You ….

Thank you, father, that you love me. You’ve got it all under control. It’s all in your hand and working out that which is good for me and pleasing to you. In Christ I can be confident that things are good and my actions are accurate. The temporal things are transient and they pass away as vague memories and vapors, or as laughs and sighs.  Your divine presence is in my life and in those moments that you have ordained before hand that I would walk in, I am your workmanship created for good works, and you are glorified.

My vessel is filled with your spirit and you pour out of me to those around me and your purposes, father, are accomplished.  In that way I get to be a part of the kingdom; I have the kingdom and the kingdom has me.  I don’t always understand your actions, my father, and sometimes things seem to be sad or tough, but I trust you. You, Heavenly Father, are good. You never leave me nor forsake me.

You are my God and I am Yours

2 Thes 2&3, Phil 1, Ezk 36

I give thanks to you, father, that in love you chose me to be saved, through sanctification by the Holy Spirit and belief in the truth. You called me through the gospel so that I could obtain the glory of God in my Lord Jesus.  I stand firm and hold on to what you teach me in your word. The Lord Jesus, himself, in grace comforts my heart and establishes me in every good work and word.

Lord Jesus, I know that you are faithful to establish me and to guard me against the evil one. I know that today you direct my heart to the love of God and to your steadfast care for me  I know that you will complete the work you have begun in me. You have chosen me (taken me out of the nations) and gathered me to you. You have sprinkled me with your atonement, Lord Jesus.  You have given me a new heart and a new spirit. You have put your spirit in me who causes me to walk in your statutes; to the love you and to love your statutes.
