Established and Abounding

Colossians 2

Good morning, Lord, my heart is encouraged and knit together with the family of believers you have put me in, the family I have been born again into.

By your grace, through your word and your very person communing with me, I have ever increasing knowledge and understanding of your “mystery” of justification, salvation, faith, assurance, conversion, and redemption. In you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and day by day, you reveal a daily measure of those to me.

I received you, Lord, through your gift of faith. You showed me yourself, and you made me able to believe in Christ, and now I walk with you in faith, rooted and built up by your living word. I am established in your sovereign faith and abounding in thanksgiving to you for my salvation. I am complete in you, Christ Jesus.

One

John 10, 14,&10

Lord Jesus, you called me, and I heard your voice. You called me by name and led me out of myself. I have entered the kingdom of God, our father, by you. I am saved. I go in and out now, and with you, I find green pastures.

You are the way, the truth, and the life, and I have come to the Father by your grace, through faith in you as the Messiah, and as my savior and shepherd. I have come to new life through you, Lord Jesus, new, eternal, abundant life.

You are my good and great shepherd. You gave your life for me. You know me, and now I know you. I believe you, Lord. I commune with you, through your word and in fellowship with your Holy Spirit. I know your voice, your person, and I follow you.

You have given me eternal life, and I will never perish; neither shall anyone snatch me out of your hands. God, our father, has given me to you, Lord Jesus, and he is greater than all. No one is able to snatch me out of the Father‘s hand. You, Lord, and the Father are one!

Forever

Philippians 2; Psalm 5; Numbers 6; Psalm 5&23

Thank you, Father, that you hear my words. You consider my prayers and my needs. I cry out to you, and you hear me, and you work in my will and actions to do all that pleases you and uses me as your instrument.

You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are my king and my God. I make my prayers to you. You hear my voice in the morning, Lord, and I am filled with sure hope. I look up to you, Father, and you bless me and keep me. Your face shines upon me, and you are gracious to me. You look on me with love and favor, and I am filled with peace.

I put my trust in you, Lord, and I rejoice because you’re perfectly trustworthy. I shout and sing because you guard over me, and you guide me. With favor, you surround me as a shield.

You are my shepherd, and I want for nothing. You make me rest in living places, you lead me to peace, you restore my hope, and you fill me with righteousness, because it pleases you; it serves your divine purposes, and it is good for me. You fill me to overflowing, and I dwell with you forever.

Free Indeed

John 7&8

Lord Jesus, you have given me a thirst for you. I come to you, in your word and in your spirit, and I drink. Into and then out of my heart flows rivers of your living water.

Lord, you are the light of the world. I follow you. You have brought me out of darkness, and now I live in your light of life. I know you as Lord and Savior, and through you, I know our father also.

You are from above, Lord. You are not of this world. Now, in you, Lord Jesus, I am in this world, but I am no longer of it.

I believe you are the Messiah, Lord Jesus, and I have received you as my Lord. I am forgiven of my sins, and I am free of the bondage and death of sin.

God, our father, sent you into the world, and you speak his very words to the world. You have been lifted up to the world in death on a cross and by resurrection from the dead.

I abide in your word, Lord Jesus, and your word and spirit abide in me. I am truly your disciple, because through you, I know the truth, and the truth has set me free. You are the Christ, the Son of God, and whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

Spirit and Life

John 6

Lord Jesus, I believe on you, and I have everlasting life. You are the bread of life. Unlike manna in Moses’ time, you are the living manna, which is come down from heaven. I eat of your manna, and I do not die.

You are the living bread which came down from heaven. The bread you give is your flesh, your life, your perfect life. You give your life for the life of the world.

Except a person eat of your flesh and drink of your blood there is no divine life in them. If I do not believe you are the Messiah and receive you as my Lord, I am not born again, and I cannot be your brother and God’s child.

But, Lord Jesus, if I receive your life and your atoning death as my life and my death, then I have eternal life, and you raise me up at the last day.

For the Son’s life and atoning death set me free from my sin and impute your righteousness to my account and fill me with your Holy Spirit of new life. You dwell in me, and I dwell in you.

Now all these words refer to spiritual provisions, not actual works of the flesh, for it is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profits nothing. Your words, Lord Jesus, they are spirit, and they are life.

Everyone

John 5&6

Lord Jesus, you brought me to my senses, and I repented and confessed my sins and returned to God, our father. You made me whole, and I rose up, and I began to walk in your spirit.

You worked the work of God, our father, in me. Now I believe, and I know you are the Messiah. You have quickened me from the dead. I honor you, Lord Jesus, and through you, I honor our father.

I hear your word, and I believe you, and I have everlasting life, and I am free of condemnation. Hallelujah, by your grace and power, I have passed from death unto life.

Truly the time is coming and has already started when the dead shall hear your voice, Lord Jesus, God and Savior. All will hear and live.

Those in the grave will hear your voice, and they will come forth. Those who are yours, come forth unto the resurrection of life, and those who have refused you as Lord and Savior come forth to a resurrection of damnation.

You seek not your will, Lord Jesus, but the will of the Father. The will of the Father is that everyone who sees you as the Son of God and believes on you as Lord and Savior will have everlasting life, and you will raise them up in the last day.

I Have Come

John 4

Hallelujah! Thank you, Father, for the gift of faith to believe. I know you give the gift of salvation by your grace through faith in Jesus. Lord Jesus, you give me your words of life, and I receive them as living water.

The water you give me is eternal, divine, life-changing. It opens my eyes and fills me with spirit and life. Then it fills me and pours out of me like a spring of everlasting life to those around me. You quench my thirst, Lord Jesus, and I never thirst again.

The time has now come when I worship God, our father, in spirit and in truth. God is a spirit. He seeks those who will receive the truth that you, Lord Jesus, are the Son of God and the Christ sent to save those who receive and believe. I receive you, Lord Jesus.

Father, I receive the gift of your Holy Spirit, who dwells in me now and leads me in wisdom and righteousness.

I receive your word, Lord Jesus, which fills me with truth. I know you now, Lord Jesus. I know the way, the truth, and the life of God. I have come to our father through you. You are my Lord and my Savior.

Upon me

Psalm 33

Your word, Father, is right, and all your work is done in truth. You are righteousness and justice, and the earth is full of your goodness. You, oh Lord, are righteous, and I praise you. I sing to you a new song. I play with the skill you give me, and I shout with joy.

By your word, the heavens were made. All of creation was breathed out of your mouth.

Your eye is upon me, Lord, for you created me to fear you, and to be yours. In your choice, I have mercy and hope. You have delivered me from death into eternal life. I live in you.

My soul waits on you, Lord, and you are my help and my shield. My heart rejoices in you and in your gift of salvation. I trust in your holy name, and your mercy is upon me.

Come Upon Me

Psalm 28; Galatians 5&3; John 3; Romans 8; Psalm 28

You are blessed, oh Lord. You hear the voice of my supplications. You are my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in you, and I am helped.

You fill me with your Holy Spirit, and I am led in peace and joy. I no longer fulfill the lust of my flesh. I am free of the law of sin and death. I live in your spirit, Father, and your spirit dwells in me.

I walk now in your spirit. This life I live today in my flesh, I live by faith in Jesus, your son and my savior. He loves me and gave himself for my salvation.

Lord Jesus, you have redeemed me from the curse of the law by taking the punishment for me. Now through your propitiation, and by your grace, all the blessings of Abraham come upon me.

I am born from above by your spirit. I have eternal life and a full inheritance with you, Father. Nothing can separate me from your perfect, sovereign love. Therefore, my heart rejoices greatly, and with my song, I praise you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Satisfy and Renew

Psalm 103

I bless you, Lord, with my whole body and soul and strength. I revel in and recall all your benefits. You have forgiven all my iniquities. You have healed all my diseases. You have redeemed my life from destruction. You crown me with loving kindness and tender mercies. You satisfy my mouth with good things, and you renew my youth like the eagles.

You, oh Lord, are merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy. But, you will not always strive with men. Nor will you hold back your anger forever.

You will, however, be merciful to those who fear you. For those of us who receive you and believe in Christ Jesus, you remove our transgressions.

Like a perfect father, you pity those who are your children for you know our frame; you remember we are dust; our days are short. Our time in this flesh is temporary, but our life with you is everlasting and covered with divine righteousness.
