Much Greater

1 John 3; John 14&16; 1 John 4

This is your commandment, Father, that I believe on the name of your son, Jesus Christ, and his name includes Lord, Messiah, and Savior. He is my peace, my hope, my joy, and my Jubilee. Filled with his love for me, I love others as myself.

Your Holy Spirit communes with me day by day and thought by thought. Your spirit witnesses Jesus to me. He confesses to me the truth of your word.

I keep my eyes on your word, Father, and I abide in Christ Jesus, and he abides in me, through the person and presence of your Holy Spirit.

Your Holy Spirit teaches me all things and brings to my remembrance all of Jesus‘s word. He guides me into all truth. He speaks not on his own authority, but he speaks the very words of Jesus, and he tells me things to come. He glorifies the Lord Jesus in my mind and heart. He takes the truth of Jesus, my savior and my redeemer, and he declares it to me.

I belong to you, Father, and you have filled me with your very presence. You abide in me. There are spirits against you, Father, but I have overcome them, because much greater is your spirit, who abide in me, than the spirits who are of this world.

Never and Never

Romans 5; John 14; Hebrews 13

By your gift of faith, Father, and by your witness and communion, Holy Spirit, I am fully convinced that you, Father, are able and faithful to perform all that you have promised.

By your grace, you account my faith to me as righteousness. Your scriptures assure me that righteousness is imputed to me through faith in Jesus Christ, as your Messiah. He is raised from the dead by your sovereign power, delivered up as propitiation for my offenses, and raised for my justification.

By all of Jesus‘s faithfulness and courage, I am justified, and I have peace with you, Father. In faith, I am in Christ. I stand day by day in your grace, Father, and I rejoice in hope in your glorious presence.

You dwell in me now, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. You never leave me, and you will never forsake me.

Shout for Joy

Psalm 32

I am so blessed by you, Father. My transgressions are forgiven, and my sin is covered. You did not impute my iniquities against me, and now, in Christ, I know the truth, and I am not deceived.

When I lived in sin and silence, I aged, and your hand came heavy on me. You granted me sight to see my sinfulness, and repentance to turn back to you and to confess my sin to you. When I confessed, you forgave.

Now you are my hiding place. You preserve me from trouble. You surround me with songs of deliverance.

You instruct me and teach me in the way I must go. You cause me to see with truth and accuracy and to follow willingly. I do not have to be bridled or bitted, because you give me divine understanding.

I trust in you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and mercy surrounds me. I am glad to be hidden in Christ, and I rejoice. You have saved me and transformed me, Lord, with an upright heart, and I shout for joy!

Everypart

1 John 1

Thank you, Father, that your Apostle John tells me you are real and true, and that you want fellowship with me; that you want my joy to be full. John tells me that he heard you, and he saw you with his own eyes; that he touched you; he heard your word, and he saw divine life manifested through your word.

He bears witness and declares to me that the eternal life of God, our father, came to us through the person of Jesus, our Lord and Messiah. John saw it, him, and heard it, and declares it to me so that I will have fellowship with you, Heavenly Father, and you, Lord Jesus, and with you, Holy Spirit.

He testifies to the salvation and eternal life, through Jesus, God’s son, so that divine, sovereign joy will fill every part of my being.

By Your Grace

Romans 1; Colossians 1; Romans 12

Lord, here I am, by your grace, a bond servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. Separated and set apart to your gospel. Your gospel is foretold by your prophets and written in your scripture by your apostles and declared finished by the life and death and resurrection of Jesus, your son, raised from the dead and glorified by your spirit of holiness.

Through him, I have received your salvation, finished and paid for. Day by day, you commune to me the understanding of the fullness of your saving grace, so my heart and my mind stay tuned to you, and I am healed, spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

In Christ, I am filled with the knowledge of your will, Father, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, and I walk worthy of you, fully pleasing to you.

By your grace and presence in me, I am fruitful in every good work, and I increase in my personal communion and fellowship with you.

In that way, I am able to walk today in your good and pleasing and perfect will. I rejoice in hope. I am patient in tribulation, and I am instant in prayer!

I Have Become

Acts 28; Romans 1&3; 2 Corinthians 5

Thank you, Father, that the message of your salvation has come to me, and I have heard it. You have given me ears to hear and a heart to understand; eyes to see and a new nature to perceive; a soft heart and understanding of your sweet gift.

I am saved and lifted up by your gospel. It is your power for my salvation and for everyone who believes. You have shown me your righteousness accredited to me through faith in Jesus as your Christ and my Lord and Savior. Now I live by faith, faith to faith.

By the deeds of the law no flesh is justified. Your righteousness, Father, comes through faith in Jesus, for all have sinned and fallen short of your glory, but through faith in Jesus, as our propitiation, by your grace, we are justified and redeemed. You pass over our sins. You, Father, are just and the justifier of all who have faith in Jesus

I am in Christ, and I am a new creation. Old stuff of me has passed away, and behold, all of me is now new. I am reconciled to you, Father, through Jesus Christ, and I have become your righteousness.

From the Power

Daniel 5&6

Lord God, there was a time, a dark time in my life, when I was not humble in heart. I was hateful and self-serving. I held myself up against you, Lord, even though I knew better.

One night, with your finger, you wrote on the wall of my mind, and I saw how lost and enslaved I was, and in your mercy, you granted me repentance. I confessed my sin and turned back to you, my God and my Lord.

Now your excellent Spirit fills me. I have become faithful and sanctified by your truth. I know you are my God and Father, and that you hold my every breath in your hand, and that you own all my ways. I glorify you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Now I belong to you, Father. You send your angels to guard over me, to stop any who would devour me. I am guarded and gifted and guided by you, because my faith is in you and in your living word.

You are the living God, and you are steadfast forever. Your kingdom will prevail and overcome. It cannot be destroyed. Your dominion endures to the end.

You deliver, and you rescue. You work signs and wonders in heaven and on earth. You deliver me and all those who are yours from the power of the lions.

Forever in Peace

Daniel 4,3,4

Oh Lord, how great are your signs and how mighty your wonders! Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion is from generation to generation.

Blessed are you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, for you deliver me, and all who are yours. You give us faith to stand against unrighteous rulers, and to worship you as the true and only God. You deliver us from fiery furnaces and from foolish delusions. You make us your servants, for your Holy Spirit dwells in each of us, who are yours.

You are the most high, and you rule the earth, and you give it to whoever you choose. You are the king of heaven and earth. Your works are truth, and your ways are justice. I have been taught your sovereignty by your spirit, and shown that all who walk in pride will be put down.

By your grace and truth, my understanding has become clear, and my reasoning has been sanctified, and I am able now to live forever in the peace and glory and splendor of your kingdom.

Called and Chosen

Hebrews 2; John 17; Hebrews 2

Lord Jesus, you are sanctified, and now you sanctify me with your truth. Your word is truth. Now I am one with you, and you call me brother. You took on flesh like me that, through your death, you destroyed the power of the devil and released me from any bondage to the fear of death.

You are my merciful and faithful high priest, in all matters, relating me and reconciling me to God, our father. You made perfect and complete propitiation for my sins.

Therefore, I give earnest heed to your word, Lord Jesus, and to your Holy Spirit, who dwells in me. I stay close, united to you. I pay attention to this great and beautiful salvation you have bought for me and brought to me.

God, our father, has witnessed you to me, Lord, by renewing my mind and transforming my character with his living word, and through the gift of his personal, eternal presence, in the person of God, the Spirit, living in me and leading me in every thought and action.

I was called and chosen to become yours, Lord Jesus. By your perfect life and atoning sacrifice, all things were accomplished for me, and I was brought into the kingdom of God as a son, with you, Lord Jesus, as the Captain of my salvation.

The Captain

Acts 9&10; Hebrews 2

Thank you, Father, for choosing me to be yours. You have given me sight to see you and filled me with your Holy Spirit to be led by you and to be in constant communion with you. Today I walk in the fear of you, Father God, and in your comfort, Holy Spirit.

Truly, Lord, you are not partial with race or nationality, but from every nation, you accept any and all who will fear you and receive your work of righteousness by faith in Jesus, your Christ.

I have peace through Jesus Christ. He is Lord of all. You, Father, anointed Jesus of Nazareth with your Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil for you, Father, were with him.

You, Father, ordained that Christ, my Lord, would die hanging on a tree as the perfect propitiation for sin. You proved your satisfaction by raising Jesus up from the dead on the third day and showing him openly to many witnesses, who ate and drank with him.

He commanded us to preach and to testify that he is the Messiah, and that he is ordained to be the judge of the living and the dead. Through his name, all who believe in him will receive remission of sin. He is the captain of our salvation.
