Romans 8; 2 Timothy 2; Romans 5
Despite all my sin and selfishness, my foolishness and bad choices, by your grace, Father, I am more than a conqueror.
I deserved punishment and condemnation, but in your mercy, you provided a way back to righteousness. You redeemed me from destruction and made me a vessel of honor in your house. By your grace and power, you made something useful for your kingdom out of my life.
Lord Jesus, you loved me and did what had to be done to buy me back from brutish bondage, and to give me a new heart. You, Lord, died as propitiation for my terrible first life, and you were raised from the dead to see me born again to a second life.
Now I belong to you. I know I don’t deserve such mercy and hope, but you give it as a gift, and I receive it with joy and humility.
For some reason you chose me and bought me and called me. Now your Holy Spirit fills me and glorifies Christ Jesus within me.
So I am more than a conqueror in life, through Christ Jesus, and nothing from my past or future can separate me from your love, Father, which came to me through Christ Jesus, and is now poured into my heart every day, through your Holy Spirit.
