My Delight

Psalm 119; 1 Peter 2; Psalm 119; Galatians 5

Thank you, Father. You deal bountifully with me. I have been born again by your grace, and now I live in Christ, and I keep your word. You have opened my eyes, and I can see the wonders of your scripture and your salvation.

My new man is a pilgrim and sojourner in this fleshy world; just a stranger in the earth.

I meditate on your statutes, and your testimonies are my delight. Your Holy Spirit counsels me. You teach me, oh Lord, and I keep and obey your word. I delight in your word and your way. I walk in liberty as I follow you.

I stand fast in the liberty that I have in and through Christ Jesus. In Christ I live by faith working through love.

I walk in your spirit, Father, and I no longer fulfill the lust of the flesh. I am led by your spirit and no longer under the law. I have crucified the flesh, and now I bear the fruit of your Holy Spirit. Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance abide in me and pour out of me.
