Romans 10&8
I have a zeal for you, father, according to correct knowledge which you have taught me. Therefore, I submit with gladness to your righteousness. That is, “Christ is the end of the law of righteousness to everyone who believes.”
I believe that. I believe that Jesus is the Christ, and that he has paid for my sins and fulfilled the law for me. Further, I do not have to go looking for Jesus, rather, he dwells in me in the person of your Holy Spirit, father. Jesus, the Word, is in my mouth and in my heart.
I say the same things Jesus says. I agree with your gospel, father. I believe in my heart that you raised Jesus from the dead. I believe unto righteousness, and I confess unto salvation of my soul and eternal life with you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
You were rich to me, father. I call on the name of the Lord, and I am saved. You found me even before I knew to seek you, and you showed yourself to me before I even asked. Thank you for your mercy to me, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
