Romans 9; Psalm 19; Romans 9
You, father, are God. You are almighty and sovereign over all your creation. Among the people you have mercy on whom you will, and you harden the hearts of whom you will. Ignorant people dare to respond to that and judge you as unfair, but that is a presumptuous sin.
Who am I a created being, a mortal man, to respond against God? Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel of honor and another for dishonor?
I believe that you, father, are busy showing your wrath and making your power known. You endure a rebellious stubborn people with patience while you make known to those who are your seed the riches of your glory according to your plans for redemption and salvation.
And so, by your grace, father, I have attained righteousness even the righteousness that comes by faith. You chose to be merciful to me, Lord, and showed me the cornerstone you laid in Zion. You gave me the faith to believe on Jesus, and I am saved from your wrath and placed in your kingdom.

AMEN
