A Chosen Vessel

1 Corinthians 2&1; Colossians 1

Hallelujah, father, I am determined not to be concerned about anything of the world’s machinations except Jesus Christ and him crucified. My faith is not in the wisdom or politics of man. My faith is in your power and in your character, father.

I do not lean on the wisdom of this age, nor do I trust in the rulers of this age. They are all coming to nothing. I trust in your wisdom, father, your hidden wisdom that you ordained before the ages for your glory.

My eye has not seen, nor my ear heard, nor can I even imagine, the things you have prepared for me. Your Holy Spirit has begun to reveal them to me, so that I can know the things that have been freely given to me by you, father.

No flesh will glory in your presence. Nothing of mankind will out do your wisdom and strength. Instead, you have placed me, as a chosen vessel, in Christ, and he has become wisdom, righteousness, redemption, and sanctification for me. Christ dwells in me and he is my glory.
