Psalms 73; Colossians 3; Psalms 73
Lord, thank you for my salvation and for your presence with me. You guide me with your counsel and afterward you receive me to glory.
I have you and you have me. I am hidden with Christ in you, father, hidden in the heavenlies. Your wisdom and presence free me from this world so there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.
My flesh and my heart may fail, but you, father, are the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
It is tempting to be envious or judgmental of the arrogant and wicked. They scoff and speak with malice. They set their mouths against heaven and their tongue struts through the earth.
But you, Lord, have shown me their end. You have set them on slippery places. You make them fall to ruin. They are destroyed and swept away.
So, it is not my place to be bitter or brutish about the folly of the ungodly. I pray for them and turn them over to you. As for me and my walk, I draw close to you. You are my refuge, and my thoughts are your thoughts.

AMEN AND AMEN
