Thy Throne, Oh God, Is Forever

God’s word declares and clearly sets forth Jesus as the Messiah, the Christ, the anointed one of God, sent to save his people from their sins and to reconcile his children to their heavenly father.  To Jesus our father says, “Thy throne, oh God, is forever.”

I give earnest heed to the word of my God, lest at any time I should let the things of God slip. I pay constant attention to God’s great salvation for me and for his people. These things are spoken of by the Lord Jesus and confirmed by his disciples, with God, the father, bearing witness to them with signs and miracles and the gift of the Holy  Spirit according to his will.

I see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels regarding suffering death, crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God, he should taste death for every man. In that, he would bring many sons into glory and is the captain of our salvation, made perfect through the things that he suffered.
