Hallelujah, thank you that you guide me, oh Lord. You use the bread of adversity and the water of affliction to teach me, but you do not leave me. Then my eyes see my teacher and my ears hear a word behind me saying, “this is the way, walk in it. ” I defile my idols; I scatter them as unclean things; I say to them, be gone.
You, my heavenly father, give rain to my seed and bread comes rich and plenteous. On every hill and mountain there are brooks running with water. You bind up my brokenness and heal all the wounds you have inflicted. In repentance and rest I am saved. In quietness and trust is my strength.
